> My family hired Barba Builders to renovate our 30 year old home, and the job came out fantastic, on budget and practically on time (but for inspectors who go on vacation).  Our job involved renovating 3 bathrooms, installing an upstairs laundry, enlargement tricky openings, replacing doors, relocating closets, custom designing our master closet, retailing our kitchen, installing extensive lighting and cable in the house, etc.  The principal, John Barba, was detail oriented, reliable and above all, honest and fair.  His communication with us was direct, prompt and thorough at every stage.   He had solid subs on the job everything form woodworking, plumbing, HVAC, tile, to even giving us referrals to reliable subs where it was more economical for us to hire direct.  We value the professionalism and respect he has for his clients, and trust his opinion.  He helped us achieve sustainable value and comfort for our home.   We had since relied on Barba for troublesome and mysterious water issues, and smaller jobs, and each time, received exemplary service.  Hands down the best.

> We hired Barba Builders for repair to our home after a water leak from second floor through first floor to the basement. Mr. Barba came on the weekend to evaluate the damage and sent us en estimate the following day. The work was performed as agreed upon within the time frame and according to estimate. Employees are courteous, show up at expected times, protect and cover areas for dust before starting the work. Mr. Barba and technician were helpful when we changed the paint color after half of the room was painted.... Their goal seem to be the same as our goal - finish the job as agreed upon with high quality. We can highly recommend Barba Builders!

> My wife and I hired Barba Builders in 2009 to build a large 6000 sq ft custom home for us and 11 months later we moved our family of 5 into our beautiful new home and could not have been happier with the result. John Barba delivered a home that exceeded our expectations right on schedule and right on budget!  We felt that the quality, beauty and craftsmanship of the home were specacular including the office with extensive custom built in cabinets, shelving and desk made to our specifications.  The home contained many custom features from the desks for our children's homework stations to the extensive shelving, hooks, benches and cabinets in the mud room. Other nice touches including elaborate walnut in-lays in the dining room floor and wood heating vents that match the hardwood floor, many of which were John's idea, really add a special custom built feel to our home. Of course we made some small changes and improvements to the design along the way (well, some maybe not so small), which John graciously accommodated with enthusiasm and for very reasonable cost adjustments. I have heard horror stories from people who used other contractors who were not even on speaking terms after the project was done. That certainly was not our experience with Barba Builders, we enjoyed the entire experience of building our home and working with John was always a pleasure.  John's professionalism throughout the project was so refreshing and our communication with John was always excellent. When we finished the project we felt so fortunate to have worked with someone like John who went out of his way to be fair with us and make the experience enjoyable.  Of course most importantly he delivered a beautiful high-quality home that we could be really proud to own.  We have no regrets about hiring Barba Builders to build our home, and would not hesitate to hire him again ourselves or recommend him to friends.
