While I was away from my home, they sent me pictures of their progress. > I selected my tiles and quartz at the NJ Kitchens and Baths showroom with the help of Lydia (designer) and Andrew. Then Andrew made me a shopping list for all the plumbing supplies needed for my renovation. The suppliers that Andrew recommended for my purchases were great to work with. Darek is a true master carpenter, which you need in these old homes. He was a bit dismissive about the over the phone budget costs and wanted an in home consultation. Our designer met with him at his home and reviewed the scope of work and reaffirmed the budget numbers at which point the homeowner laughed. He requested the budget numbers to be cut in half (which we can't do) and also for a design and written proposal. Our designer asked for a retainer fee to which he said "you can't provide a written proposal?".
