> Carreiro Builders (Tom) did a fantastic job on managing construction of our new home in Santa Rosa.  We started with an empty lot in the hills and a preliminary design from the architect.  From there Tom and his team cheerfully worked through many issues to address needs for cost reduction as well as dealing with conflicting subcontractor schedules and unexpected findings once construction began.  Believe me; there are a ton of uh-ohs that come up along the way when you are starting from scratch.  Giant rock in the way of your foundation?  No problem; we'll just drill a horizontal hole and run the foundation rebar right through it.  Windows supplier delivers the wrong windows?  Get on the phone again and again until the correct windows are promised, and delivered.  All along, Tom was friendly, responsive, and 100% professional.  We are incredibly satisfied with the end result:  a contemporary home that stands out in the crowd of other homes in the area.  It was a tough 2-year process, and we happily depended on Carreiro Builders throughout.

The long, rectangular lighting is exceptional! Who is the manufacture?

A: @frenchinfluences - I'm so sorry for the confusion this caused you, but I think there has been a misunderstanding. Both statements are true. It is a custom piece done by a fabricator who is no longer in business. If it was something that you could purchase we would have gladly shared the details with you.

A: It's 1x3 Ironwood / IPE milled with a groove and installed with blind clips. Very time consuming installation!  We have had more movement than we thought would occur so would use caution if considering installing it without face screws...
