Our designers are Interior Designers as well as kitchen designers, with training in architectural drawing and CAD systems.  Our knowledge extends into area of space planning and architectural furniture styles, as well as those specific areas necessary for kitchen design - function, appliances, countertop and flooring, etc.

At Petersen Kitchens & Designs, since only the best will do, we have chosen to partner with two top quality cabinet manufacturers - Wood-Mode and Plato.  Over the years we've found that these companies meet our standards for the finest lines of quality cabinetry and service.  

Both manufacturers employ traditional woodworking methods of fine European craftsmanship and artistry (Pennsylvania Dutch for Wood-Mode and Swedish-American for Plato).

> If you need cabinets you can't do any better than Petersen.  Their attention to detail is above any professional I have dealt with.  They did our kitchen remodel, as well as, bar and living room built ins.  We chose the appliance manufacturer to do the install of their products and Petersen's owner showed up for the install and wound-up redoing some of their work so it was perfect.  We'll be doing an office remodel with them in January.  They are the BEST!

> Jan Petersen (Petersen Kitchen and Design) is a jewel!  I live in a lovely, 100+ year old cottage that was beautifully restored almost 50 years ago.  Bought our home 30 years ago and have slowly made some changes but have been generally satisfied until recently when we decided to make some changes in the kitchen.  There are many wonderful kitchen design groups in our area and they all walked away from the job saying it was just too challenging!  Jan immediately took many measurements and came up with a fantastic plan!!!  Helped find appropriate appliances, matched our cabinets to the design and pointed us in the best direction for choose tile!  All very efficiently and professionally.
