Drew helped create the design and was extremely patient with all our questions and concerns. He even came over twice to re-design, measure, mark, and confirm the exact locations for the trees. It was obvious he was knowledgeable regarding the various tree species and what would best suit our property and what we wanted out of the design (privacy, variety, design) not just trying to sell trees for the sake of selling trees. He took the time to explain what would grow the best and where, and also why certain trees would not be ideal. The nursery itself was actually really accommodating as well, they allowed us to tag the trees we wanted and even allowed us to change them when we changed our minds a few times. The landscapers that conducted the install were polite and professional. They installed a few trees backwards from what the design plan was by accident and the next day when we advised them, they re-installed them the correct way with no questions or complaints. We received several compliments from neighbors after completion. Overall, great service and professionalism provided by all and we're looking forward to working with them again next spring! Our decision was primarily based on recommendations from friends and co-workers who had previously used Maddox. Pricing was very competitive up front with the other companies we quoted. The landscape designer we worked with was Drew Board, and he was outstanding. Drew quoted us exactly what we asked for, but then brought his artistic touch with alternative concepts for both the fire pit and landscaping. In the end, we went with almost everything he recommended and couldn’t be happier. The quality of workmanship was excellent, they finished in a timely manner and on budget.
