However, I can say that Matt and his team at Fireside Stove & Hearth are one of the absolute best to work with. He and his team installed massive, table height firepits and I couldn't be happier with the work they completed. From the beginning to the end of the project, Matt kept great open communication about the status of the project. He did everything in his power to make sure that the project was completed on time- even when they had to endure a few weeks of extremely cold weather. Matt did not exceed the original budget, and maintained flexibility with the other subcontractor's schedules. He was sure to take the time to answer any questions I had, and thoroughly explained every step of the process. In fact I felt a bit educated on stove types and efficiency of each stove when we were done with our first visit. When he left he told my wife and I to talk it over and let him know if we had any more questions. As he pulled out of the driveway we looked at each other and agreed we would need to look no further for our "Stove Man". > I called Matt that night or maybe the next day and told him we wanted to proceed with picking our stove and had already picked from the information he left which one we wanted. I was nervous about having my part done right for the stove to fit the hole I made for it. Matt assured me he would make any adjustment that may be needed. It went so smooth that I felt a bit foolish for the stress I had put myself through prior to finding Matt. > After the stove was in I had questions about my chimney. We had never built a new log home before and it seemed there was always a question for somebody, but the biggest problem was just who do you ask what question?? We indicated to Matt what we wanted for our final look for the chimney and the hearth and he gave us more very valuable information. He told us of a few people that did rock work and even told us where we might be able to find some of each of their work to look at. We didn't need to look any where. One company Matt said had done several jobs behind him he was impressed with. So we called them and they did another perfect job for us. Through all of the process Matt would call and check to make sure we didn't have any questions. We had done alot of shopping around to find a good quality stove at the right size for our house for the least amount of money. We almost ordered one when we heard about Matt. He not only had a better quality stove with a higher efficiency rating, he sold it to us for less money than the other one would have cost, plus saved us a bunch of money on the pipe as well. Then I built my own hearth and decided to make it about a foot high so my wife could sit in front of the fire. When I went to install the stove my pipe was too long. I called Matt and told him what I had done and he switched out the pipe for me that day and actually saved me some more money on the pipe at that point! I had never installed a wood stove before and he answered all of my questions even though instalation is part of his business. In the end it cost me about 1500.00.
