She was truly amazing to work with on our large sunroom/guest quarters renovation. We had multiple changes and she promptly executed on every request.  She assisted in obtaining our permit after every change and was “on it” when we decided to add HVAC to our sunroom by updating our design plan, getting new prints, resubmitting AND getting our Title 24 Report.  Best part was that all of our other contractors know her and how great she is to work with.  We are definitely hiring her again!

Before working with her, I didn't understand the value-add of hiring an interior decorator if you more or less know what you want and have relatively good taste. > Jackie Mendez of JLM Designs did a great job putting together a terrific design book of suggested items and swatches for a vacation house my husband and I are furnishing.  She did so at a reasonable price and within the suggested budget, all within a matter of just a few weeks.  She met with us at our (basically empty) vacation house for the initial consultation, and came back with various boards and data sheets containing photos and schematics for furnishing our living room, dining room, 5 bedrooms, and master bathroom -- from furniture (and furniture placement) to window treatments, bedding, and towels.  She listened to what we liked and didn't like, and put together a very useful book containing all the suggested items (including revisions based on our second meeting), where to buy the suggested items, and the prices.  Jackie was also extremely responsive with my follow-up questions.  Her design work services cost under $4000, while we will likely be spending around $35,000 to do basic furnishing of the house.

**Q: Backsplash tile...?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Where can I buy this backsplash tile? I'm redoing a kitchen and am also using the Fantasy Brown granite. I would love to mimic your design by using this backsplash. Thank you!

A: Do you mind sharing the paint color you used on the walls? I am looking for something similar for my kitchen with similar cabinet color
