We had started the project with another architect who was unable to come up with a design that worked for us.  John listened carefully to our goals for the project and quickly came up with a design that captured everything we had told him we needed to change about the house.  He worked well with our chosen builder and provided a design that was realistic with our budget.  His office staff was highly professional and easy to work with.  We love the results and have received numerous compliments from friends and neighbors.  We highly recommend John and his firm.

> We had among the most challenging assignments for John. Our house was badly burned in a house fire. The insurance company insisted on repairing rather than rebuilding. John and Kevin had little to start with other than sketches and a floor plan used for marketing by the builder.

Our new builder ran into numerous framing faults left by the original builder which had to be corrected. John and Kevin were highly responsive and came up with many innovative solutions. This resulted in not only a stronger house, but with fewer columns intruding into the living space. In addition we were able to add a full height, conditioned attic that now serves as storage freeing up space in the basement and garage.

We are building this house and curious which foundation route did this homeowner go with precast piers or poured in place cement piers? We live on the coast in Louisiana

A: This is a standing seam copper roof on which a chemical accelerator
has been applied to speed up the formation of a patina. See Green Patina
