Our 40 plus year old custom home needed some TLC, being built on a hill the downstairs sunroom which was enclosed underneath the deck at some point had sunk about 2 inches. Pell Builder reinforced the foundation and jacked it up using their pier system going 23’ deep until the house started to lift - very impressive! Also Zsolt addressed why it had sunk, which was due to the old wooden retaining walls rotting, and land sliding away from the house. > > Next they totally redesigned the retaining walls using concrete Allan Block and built 2 sets of stairs plus excavated to provide for a large L shaped patio which ended up us having much more usable space. Zsolt has great design ideas and gave us some different options to play with. All the work done was top tier, Pell Builder builds like the Romans - to last! > > Fast forward a year later with our ongoing Reno’s we got a reputable fencing company to install a cedar fence and they basically gave up right away saying they couldn’t anchor the post brackets hitting rebar , left all the materials there and pretty much said to figure out a different way. The owner, Zsolt met with us several times. He gave us a detailed estimate with several options. We removed the concrete driveway, concrete pathways around the house, concrete deck around the pool. This was all replaced with pavers. Pell did a beautiful pattern all around the house and built beautiful steps leading out to the pool. We also reshaped the pool. It was a large project and Pell did an excellent job. We are planning some future projects with them as well! I would highly recommend Pell Builder.
