Here are before & afters A: That's a beautiful job. **Q: Help with Kitchen!** *(in Remodeling)* Hi everyone, my home was flooded due to hurricane harvey and now I am forced to make A LOT of decisions very quickly. I would love your assistance with a color matching for the kiitchen. I have decided on 16x32 Carrara Porcelain as to avoid having to replace hardwood in the case of another flood. Picture is linked below and though it looks like it has brown veins, in person it is white and grey. Some information is that the kitchen is a rectangle shape and we will have an 8x4 ft island. I would prefer to avoid dark cabinets as well as bright white. With that said, I am seeking advice on color of cabinetry, backsplash and hardware. Advice is desperately needed and photos are highly encouraged! Thanks in advance Carrara Polished Porcelain Tile 16x32 A: Have you tried to look at either a black / charcoal cabinet color or a blueish grey cabinet color for the kitchen and your tile? **Q: Final product: Hall bath remodel** *(in Remodeling)* House was built in 1979 with compartment bath that was popular at the time. I removed the wall, widened and move the hall door. The fixtures were relocated. The tub was removed and replaced with a curbless, doorless shower. A wall hung vanity was used to increase airiness. Before: After: The drain is hidden between the spaces in the stones: A: Beautiful job on the remodel! **Q: should the kitchen sink be centered under a window** *(in Design Dilemma)* I just had my kitchen gutted and new cabinets put in...my kitchen sink is not centered under the window. I’m not sure if that’s ok or if I should complain to my contractor A: It should have been centered under the window. Does look like there was a filler added to the left of the sink to make the cabinet not centered. Will be a costly move to have the countertop redone. Did you look at the design plan to see if it was centered under the window? **Q: Help mee Help please** *(in Bathrooms)* This is a. new house...to us. This bath is killing me. A: Yes a dark blue. **Q: Silestone quote for vanity top** *(in Bathrooms)* Our contractor gave us a $3,000 quote for our vanity top. It's 7' 3" long by 21 deep. No backsplash, no fancy edges. I'm assuming it also includes some trim pieces for the shower - one knee wall cap and a piece for the ledge of the door opening. It was for Yukon - a white. No fancy new pattern. Does this seem reasonable? We're MD/DC area. Given that the custom vanity cabinet was already going to put us back several grand, I'm thinking I may just buy a stock vanity with a marble top off the internet. Not the look I wanted but the the final pricing for this project has me rethinking everything! A: Wow. Sounds a bit pricey.
