Cost plus is the normal way a contractor works and that leaves our clients exposed. And things always change, the as-built dimensions aren't correct or there's a problem with the existing framing or an HVAC duct that you think is OK needs to be moved. Well, all of those things happened and more, except for cost over runs. Howell Builders had accurately priced the job and included a reasonable contingency and the quality of the work was superb. The new cabinets and trim were artfully fit to existing construction which was anything but straight and true. Allan Howell asked the right questions at the right time and dependably did what he said he would do when he said he'd do it. > > Would I recommend him? Yes, certainly.
