The Falino's attention to detail is amazing; especially when matching the original house to new.  Frank and Andrea were always available and on site.  Very nice to work with; always pleasant and happy.   A job that was projected to take over three months was completed in two months!  We highly recommended the Falinos to anyone for Design and Construction.

**Q: Spindles not painted** *(in Photo Questions)*

We just had a huge front porch built on our gray craftsman that looks very similar to this with large white columns and left the mahogany floor & spindles natural, stained. I am wondering if we should paint the spindles white. Did this customer grapple with that or was that ever brought up?

A: Yes, our client decided to leave it stained.  They started with a natural stain, but went to darker when the wood aged.

**Q: Need help choosing floor stain** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I've just finished redoing my kitchen and now need to tackle the floor. The cabinets are bamboo and my table/chairs are cherry. The floors are oak and although old are in good shape just need staining. I'd like some ideas as to color/shade of stain. It's a townhouse with an open floor plan so the wood extends throughout.
