An essential component to our downsizing strategy was to incorporate our favorite pieces of existing traditional furniture into our new space so it would still feel like "home". A second, but equally important, objective was to create a more updated and fresh look with a different color palate and new fabrics for the furniture and draperies. After completing a search for an interior design firm, we selected Meadowbank Designs and began working with Kirsten McCoy and her associates. Kirsten immediately understood our goals and had a clear vision of what that should look like and how to implement it in our space. She truly excels with her sense of color and the details of furniture placement. Kirsten was also very helpful with all fabric selections for drapes and reupholstering, as well as paint colors for the walls and wallpaper choices. Meadowbank does all the ordering, plus coordinates with their preferred vendors and trades. Their budget estimating process is very organized, as well as is their subsequent billing. Having worked with other designers in the past, we feel Kirsten McCoy and the Meadowbank firm are by far the best, and we would not hesitate to use them again.
