> We recently completed a design project with Meredith. We purchased a new house and Meredith was able to help us transform it from a very bland space to an absolutely beautiful home. Meredith helped us re-design some of the spaces and furnished the entire house. We completely re-did the master bath, built a bar in the kitchen, changed the kitchen backsplash and put in new built-ins and a new fireplace in the family room. Her team did an amazing job of doing this under a timeline set by our builder and working within our budget. We did 90% of the project remotely and she was able to execute it flawlessly. Her team does an excellent job of following up with vendors. They are all very professional and patient. Meredith exceeded our expectations. Our house looks amazing! I’ve had many people view our house and ask for her information. I will continue to work with Meredith on all future projects.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Amazing floors** *(in Photo Questions)*

Would you mind sharing the tile source?  I love the border/tile rug created.

A: I don't recall offhand - it's a standard hex tile very gettable. The tiler and the pattern however, are the essential key to making this happen!! Hats off to ours' he is my hero.

Renovating a home we just bought and love the fireplace.

A: The fireplace was original to the house.

Curious if you would mind sharing the tile source. I love the border and was having difficulty finding something similar to use as the border. Was it custom or purchased?

A: It's a standard ceramic hex tile. You really have to have a skilled tiler to make this happen. This isn't a DIY project. Lots of calculations and drawings to be done ahead of time to work out the mathematics and then someone with the ability to make it work on site. This was much harder to install than the custom water jet marble tile we did in the foyer which was 10x the cost.  It was crazy difficult to work out.

A: It's a custom marble mosaic we had made.

**Q: Are the chairs the same wood as the table?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I am buying a farm table and want the chairs to be a solid color like yours, but am not sure if I should use oak (same as table)

A: I wouldn't go with oak for a solid stain. Maple is much better for that application. Oak is too grainy. Maple is preferred to Pine for chairs - much harder.
