I have been delighted with my entire experience from design to installation. The blinds dressed up the rooms and made them feel more cozy. Amy was very careful to install each blind for maximum functionality and appearance. Kudos and thank you to the whole team! **★ — anthony mangano, March 2023** > I had multiple rooms installed with power and regular blinds. and spent over $20,000, very happy with the services. The last job were drapes in the bedroom. When they came out to install I was told that they had a hard time installing them but she "finally got it". I paid the remainder of the $6000 for the bedroom drapes and blinds and they left. Less than 5 minutes after they left the drapes fell and ripped a hole in the drywall. I immediately called her and showed her a picture of the damage. She came back out a few times to assess and trouble shoot and eventually said that they could swap out the rods and maybe the rods weren't sturdy enough to hold the heaviness of the curtains (something that should have been addressed before hand in my opinion.) So the new rods came in (we did not pick them, she ordered them without asking, my wife hated the design of the new rods but was willing to live with them if it fixed the problem) she then came to try the new rods and still did not work. Turns out she could not find the studs, and proceeded to hang 3 sets of curtains into the drywall without studs using the wrong anchors. So now we have holes in the drywall, and curtains that can not be used. After asking for a a new solution, she stated its not her responsibility and ultimately gave up. We then called our contractor who needless to say had them up within an hour patched and painted her drywall mess, cleaned all the dust and screws they left on floor. Since they were now up my wife contacted her and asked for the contractor charge and the difference in the curtain rods refunded. Seems like a simply ask. We have not heard one word back from them. No apology, No refund. Only that she had contacted a lawyer in case I was going to sue. I would never use them or recommend them to anyone. We used this company for many other house projects and were very pleased with the outcome. All we wanted to do was work together to find a solution. We always want to support small business in this community so its such a shame to see how it was handled. **Comment from Added Touch Drapery Shop:** > I have no other choice but to respond to the review left by Dr.Anthony Mangano. > Unfortunately, I feel very bad that he had negative comments to say about us after we installed many shades in his house for almost 2 years. > Victoria ordered draperies with black out lining, and rods with French returns for 3 bedroom windows. We installed them with heavy anchors, and received a call that evening for Tony that the draperies were laying on the floor, and we had to do something right away. We went over the next day, and the draperies were not on the floor (we take pictures) and tried heavier metal anchors, in a few places, but there was absolutely nothing behind their walls and I told Tony that. He told us that his contractor would call us, and we could work on a solution. > > We met with the contractor, and he showed us pictures of what was behind the walls, there were no studs that he could see, except the ones framing the window. We could not use the wood around the window, because Victoria wanted them closer to the ceiling. He also told us of the numerous problems with the original contractors and the new house. The contractor said he presented a few ideas to the Mangano’s, but they declined them. He said he would take care of fixing the issue because it was not our problem, it was a defect of the house. I offered to help him in any way, to help him repaint, he said he would be happy to take care of it. I did reorder heavier rods, brackets, rings, etc.at my cost to make sure there would be no problem. I explained to Tony that the French returns, and the problems with the walls, the new ones would be better. > Tony told us to contact the contractor, we did. The contractor insisted on coming up with a solution, he did.
