He was very responsive despite being very busy. > > I described to him what I was looking for in a house and within a week he had a plan that incorporated all our key features. He made the changes we wanted done to the plan within a day. He did not ask for payment to be made before he worked with us, which was surprising as most builders require a design fee or make you sign an outrageous time and materials design agreement. > > He always responded to texts and phone calls within a short period of time. They are very busy so there will be times when they cannot address your issues as fast as you would think, but this is true of all builders. I think Bella Homes is actively trying to address this issue that all builders have. > > We also went shopping for selections with Kassie Knudson, the Bella Homes interior designer. She was very helpful. > > All this and Bella Homes did not ask us for anything (I paid him a design fee anyway). > > After sending our plan out for bid, we had problems with the lot we chose (not a Bella Homes lot) and decided to postpone building.
