  - Description: New Custom Kitchen in an antique home. We were able to add back the old world craftsmanship, charm, and character to a busy family space. We mad a nice transitional mudroom area, and created a glass cabinet that looks original to the house, but gives a much needed breakfast counter/ homework area. The three sided pass through glass cabinet lets in light from the dining room to an otherwise dark kitchen.

**Q: I have been wanting to build or buy a hidden door for a small closet.** *(in Photo Questions)*

My door opening is 6ft tall x 34-1/2 from the jams any help would be greatly appreciated. I'd like the door to swing out.

Looks like this would have to go into 42 inch base?  What are the shelf dimensions?

A: there are 3 different sizes based on door opening size. These utilize the dead space in the blind corner and can fit pots and pans. Hope this helps!

A: Hi! It wasn't in my scope of work, but I think they used a ceramic hex pattern in white with colored accent pieces (see the dots in front of the vanity. I think the accent pieces were olive green). Thanks!

**Q: Martha Cabinets** *(in Photo Questions)*

I did a search for Martha Stewart Cabinets to see how they look installed as we are considering them. Yours look significantly better than most I have seen! I noticed in a different comment you mentioned the paint color was matched for some type of varnish. What was that used for? Are these the thermofoil or paint? Thanks in advance.

A: Hi acscott,
The main reason they look better is they are custom made by our shop and not a mortha stewart kitchen. We only matched the Bedford Grey color...We use a lacquer finish on the cabinets, and custom make the cabinets per our design and to fit perfectly in the space. No extra fillers etc.
