Rob Wickstrom, company president, started home building 42 years ago. He first began building in British Columbia in 1973. Then in 1985 he came to Winnipeg to settle with his family and established Hearth Homes. Through the years, Hearth has never wavered from its design, craftsmanship and customer service that has made homeowners proud to own a Hearth Home. We continue our commitment to tailoring our homes to suit the needs of our clients and to provide reliable service that extends before, during and long after the build process. > This was the first home we built.  Our primary contacts throughout the build were: Linda Frenz-Cove (Sales Representative), Wade Forshaw (Project Manager) and Laso  (Site Supervisor).  The build process went very smoothly,  The most significant advantage to building with Hearth Homes Ltd. is the purchaser has unrestricted access to the property and structure throughout the entire build.  There are builders in Winnipeg who restrict the the number of times you can visit during the build.  During our weekly visits, we met a few of their sub-trades.  Every sub-tradesman/tradesmen we met were approachable and answered all of our questions. Our home was ready to move in when Hearth Homes said would be, and at the total price we agreed upon - original price plus any change orders we approved.  The most significant question we would ask ourselves: If we were to build another home - would we use Hearth Homes?  We would build with Hearth Homes without question.
