For the living area, he did everything, from the floor plan, to idea boards, to choosing furniture and drapery, to helping me hang artwork. For the bedroom he worked with some furniture I already owned, supplementing it with other pieces and choosing paint colors, furniture placement and artwork to complete the room. Thanks to him, my home is beautiful and comfortable, both of which everyone who visits remarks upon. Best of all, my home really feels like me, albeit a me with better taste. His ability to design and furnish a sophisticated interior on am average budget; 2) His abity to put together an entire room at one time that nonetheless looks as though it has been collected over time; 3) His unique visions and eye for proportion. 4) his impeccable taste, as I mentioned at the top. From furniture and paint selection to his choice of contractors and his people skills, I trust Mark completely. In fact, my only regret in working with him is that I shot down a couple of his initial ideas. A: Hi Audrey, Thanks for asking. Those were some old chairs I had reupholstered in that striped fabric. It's really a pretty basic chair underneath. You can actually get a similar chair from Ballard Designs. The have a thicker stripe but you can also send them your own fabric. They may even have a slipcover that you may like. Hope this helps.
