She was very exact as to when work would occur and for how long the efforts would take from start to finish,  The teams she brought in to do the work were very professional and did a great job. > We first hired Joycelyn Armstrong to redo the guest and master bathrooms.  When we saw the beautiful results, we then asked her to do the master bedrooom.  Each time she finished a room we would decide to add another.  We ended up using her to redecorate the entire house (living room, dining room, family room, 1 additional bedroom, 2 offices and basement).

> My husband and I agonized over how to go about  some major home renovations for years. This included total removal of a main wall in the home, all new flooring, and a complete gut/redesign of our kitchen. We got many quotes and layout ideas from several contractors. At the last minute we decided to interview a few interior designers. Honestly, we never intended to  hire a designer, due to fact we viewed this as an  unnecessary added expense. After our first meeting with Joycelyn , we both agreed without hesitation, she was needed. She presented a few unique  layouts that were far superior to anything anyone else had presented. We were blown with  her creativity and design, that equally emphasized functionality, and practicality. Her ideas were simply in a different class than the others we had viewed.  More impressively, she casually threw out some minor "tweaks" that we never considered, and realized would  provide a dimension of class we did not feel we could afford.  We were in awe of how quickly she got to know what we wanted, much better than we did. Instead of us deciding between dozens of back splashes, or light fixtures, she'd bring us two or three samples to start, and without fail she nailed it with her initial samples. Her attention to detail, and coordination of materials and fixtures far exceeded our expectations. The nightmare we anticipated with major home renovations, ended up being significantly smoother than expected. In fact things were going so well, we added removal of living room built-ins, popcorn ceilings,  and  refacing of a fireplace to our project. The final result is amazing. We are more than a year out and I am still telling my husband on a regular basis how happy I am with our home. I also have to say, there is not one tiny design aspect I would change. I encourage anyone considering home renovations to talk to Joycelyn first. We would not consider any future  home projects without her. Rather than adding to our expense, she clearly added to our home value, far beyond what we could have done on our own.
