> "When my wife and I were fortunate enough to build our second home in southern Vermont, we kept coming back to Timber Homes' website above all others. We sensed something different...something special. They don't sell you on the proverbial "kit home" models like other companies and builders. Their respect for the process, environmentally friendly building practices, and a profound ability to actually hear what's important to you (the client) is second to none. Their attention to detail in the joinery, coupled with the time honored tradition of classic timber framing techniques are inspiring; especially in a modern world that's in a rush to get things done. Most people might walk into an empty home and wonder where the furniture's going to go and what color to paint the walls. A Timber Homes design looks great empty! If you can appreciate quality, professionalism, and working with people that respect their work, then I highly recommend these folks."

> It was a pleasure working with Timberhomes. From day 1 when we first met David the ideas were flowing and we ultimately came to design a home that we love. They were especially concerned that the home be respectful to our goals with the site. Everyone we met on their team was terrific too. One comment we received from a visitor was that "stepping into the house was like living within a piece of furniture" after seeing the beauty of the frame and joinery. We wanted to have a home that would be efficient (5 star rating from Efficiency Vermont), fun and a great place to spend every day in and they delivered.

> The stars were aligned when a friend introduced us to Josh of TimberHomes, LLC. From our first meeting with Josh we were confident that our ideas and dreams could become a reality, and within our budget. Little did we know that he worked with such a talented timber crew of craftsmen (and craftswoman) who would help us meet our goals.
>
> The design work unfolded from a series of meetings with Josh. We were very pleased with his thoroughness, creativity, and we succeeded in designing a house without need for an architect. Our focus was on energy efficiency, using wood from our land, staying on budget, and staying open to what creatively emerged in the process. All of this and more happened, thanks to Josh, Timo, Shannon, and Schuyler. They communicated well, responded quickly to questions/concerns/ideas, stayed sensitive to cost, made deadlines, helped coordinate subcontractors with ease. Moreover, they knew how to have fun and make the house building project a fun memory (even when it was stressful.)
>
> I sit comfortably inside, as I write at the kitchen island, while the wind whips and temperatures sit near zero outside with newfound appreciation of good performance and aesthetics coming together in a modern, custom home----thanks to the THLLC team.

> The gang at Timberhomes made our dream barn come true. I had a basic plan to begin with, and David and Josh took my ideas and turned them into a strong design. The frame they ended up building is immensely strong, and it is a thing of beauty by itself. Three things to consider when working with Timberhomes: 1. They were comfortable with the fact that I wanted to do much of the prep work and they told me exactly what they needed from me; 2. Timberhomes LLC are Great Communicators. For example, every single time I came up with a change David Hooke would e-mail me the next day with the associated costs and time restraints!; 3. We arranged with Timberhomes to have their full crew come for a week to get the frame assembled and roofed etc. The crew worked unbelievably hard, and were a delight to spend time with. If you are considering a post and beam project, you must consider this group.61

> Timberhomes LLC is the best! For a long time we have wanted a family greenhouse for our property in Vermont. We contacted many timber frame companies, but decided to go with Timberhomes because of their friendly professionalism and responsiveness. They listened to what we wanted, helped us work out the design that was within out budget, cut the timbers out of beautiful white oak, and guided us through a very memorable assembly party with 60+ friends from the neighborhood (we didn't need that many but people just wanted to join the fun). We put up the structure in a day under their expert and safety-conscious guidance. The pieces fit together like a dream and now we have a beautiful greenhouse like no other and memories to match that will last us a lifetime. I am already planning my next project, and it will definitely be with Timberhomes LLC.

> We built our whole house with Josh, from timber frame, through to the final interior details. While many people warned me building a house would be a stressful process, it was a project I loved; I was actually a bit sad when the work was done. Josh's craftsmanship shines in every room and his knowledge ensured that we came away with a house that is beautiful and efficient, warm and inviting. It is easy for me to recommend Timberhomes LLC with confidence.

> Highly recommend this first-class outfit. I first worked with Josh Jackson in 2006 before he was with TimberHomes to design and build a frame for my home and hired him back at Timberholmes last year to design and build an addition. Both were great experiences. Creative and collaborative design, excellent attention to detail and a high level of service resulting in a gorgeous authentic work product at a very affordable price.
