I cannot speak highly enough of them or their work. Our goal was to put an in-ground pool in our backyard, and eventually to have a pool house, garden and a firepit area. This was complicated by our property being bounded on two sides by conservation land, having 100- and 500-year floodplains cut through our property, and our backyard being heavily sloped. We started planning the project with them around the end of the year, broke ground in early April, and completed it in July. > > Russell came up with a beautiful design that fit a large pool pretty much in the only way it possibly could giving the conservation/floodplain/property-line offsets, while also including a great firepit area and leaving room for a garden later on. His plan made a small but significant change to our deck layout that perfectly worked with the new pool design. > > John handles everything else soup-to-nuts and is just amazing to work with. We gave him our budget and told him we really couldn't go over it, and he managed to work in FAR more than we thought possible, making excellent recommendations on tradeoffs to stay within our budget while still getting excellent quality. He had originally budgeted for someone to use some kind of trailer to move it before the pool went in, but the guy's truck broke down so it had to be moved after the pool went in -- which meant he had to rent a crane instead. Everything was done with the highest quality and throughout the project, in every phone or face-to-face interaction I felt like we were the only project he had going on, that he had all the time in the world for us -- even though I knew that was not actually the case. > > Bottom line -- you will not be disappointed.
