We, The Westmount Group, are a team of men and women who come together to build beautiful, functional items for our clients. We offer a full service shop to take your project from the concept to completion. We work with you to help define the project, create rough sketches and final, detailed drawings, source the materials, prepare finish samples, and create fabrications to make sure everything is just the way you want it. We work with a group of extraordinarily talented and well established partners , if the project requires additional, specialized skills. We use solid wood, veneer, metal acrylic, 3-form resins, leather, and almost any other material you may choose. The items we build get finished with lacquers, paints, stains, oils, gold leaf, and silver.  We also use waxes, which are made with a locally sourced bees wax. We use our skills and craft and have fun while doing so. We are also proud of every piece that goes out our door, which makes what we do pretty awesome.

> Jeff Carter and The Westmount Group helped us to renovate our Guilford kitchen, a project in the $40,000 range.  Working with them was special.  Jeff, who supervised all the work, has an excellent sense of form and function, an eye for detail, and an efficient and pleasant manner.  All cabinets, shelving, drawers, counter tops, and molding were custom designed and custom made to fit our space and peculiarities.  He selected and matched the wood so that the grain “flows” seamlessly AND in the horizontal direction that we requested.  Likewise, his team members who did the demolition and installation work were pleasant, detailed, efficient and professional.  At the end, everything was clean, everything worked right, and everything looks great.  Finally, the project was ON BUDGET.  That’s a lot to like!!
