A manufacturer and retailer of cedar hot tubs. Our round and oval cedar hot tubs are sold as kits and assembled onsite; making them ideal for installation in a basement, sun room, condo terrace, roof, small urban back yard or a cottage with limited access. Our cedar hot tubs feature a vinyl liner for additional peace of mind, comfort, easy maintenance and durability.
Canadian Hot Tubs Inc also custom manufactures replacement roll-up hot tub covers for most brands of acrylic spas, swim spas and in-ground hot tubs. Unlike conventional foam covers - which absorb water and become heavy and cumbersome - our roll-up covers are always easy to use.

> We purchased an Okanagan 7’ Hot Tub in 2015 for our cottage in the Kawarthas. It has been without a doubt the best purchase we made for our cottage. It is the most used feature of the cottage, more than the boat, jet skis, water trampoline, sauna. A great feature for a cottage is it’s a breeze to winterize, just pump out the water and disconnect two hoses intake/outtake and bring in the heater/pump unit (25-30 lbs.) inside. We use our cottage on weekends in the summer we fill up the hot tub with water Friday mornings, use the hot tub all weekend and drain the water Sunday evening. We have never used chemicals. We are on well water so there is no real cost for water and the electricity charges are minimal. In over 10 years we have had no issues with water leaks, equipment failure. We are still using the original liner (although we purchased a backup just in case), original heater, original pump.
> We would give this product 10 stars if we could given its cost / fun ratio. Minimal cost and an enormous amount of fun.

> In my opinion, if you want a hot tub with a strong likelihood of leaking, then Canadian Hot Tubs Inc is the right choice for you.
>
> This company, in my experience, sells a hot tub with a known design flaw, but will acknowledge no further responsibility for their product once it has been delivered.
>
> The seat mounts on their hot tubs are attached using several lag screws which penetrate the vinyl liner. By their own admission, they are prone to leaking, either upon installation, or over time, and their suggested remedies proved ineffective.
>
> What I have found they are exceptionally good at is self promotion, slagging their competition, shifting blame, and denying any responsibility for their product's problems. After jumping through many hoops to try to rectify the issues, I am now left with a leaking and defective hot tub. Buyer beware!

**Comment from Canadian Hot Tubs Inc:**

> Hi Daniel,
> We’re sorry to hear about your frustration. We’ve worked with you extensively to resolve the issue with your hot tub, including offering step-by-step instructions to help you fix the seat bolt. We also made an exception by offering a full refund (which is not our typical policy), but unfortunately, you chose not to proceed with that and instead decided to wait for a resolution through your credit card company. We always aim to support our customers and provide fair solutions, and we regret that we couldn't reach a resolution that met your expectations. If there’s anything else we can assist with, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

> We had a terrible experience with this company. To begin, the cover they marketed as significantly longer lasting than a standard hot tub cover lid began to fall apart within 1.5 years of hot tub purchase. We tried to fix it, it proved unfixable and we had to reach out to the company. The product was completely unwarrantied and so we had to replace the cover. We were originally quoted a price of $585 for the lid, but when we finally went to purchase a few months later they claimed the price had increased to $1935. This seems a lot like opportunistic price gauging - release an inferior product that customers are dependent on, and then only offer replacements at atrocious costs. Despite showing the original quote received for $585 the company cited new management and would not honor this. Very disappointing and would not recommend doing business with this company.

**Comment from Canadian Hot Tubs Inc:**

> Hi Kaswhite,
> We’re sorry to hear about your experience and regret any frustration caused. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to continue improving. If there’s anything we can assist with in the future, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

> We bought our first hot tub cover eight years ago and have just recently replaced it with a new one. These covers are durable and functional. They are an excellent alternative to bulky hot tub covers.

> I have been using their tubs on my sites many times,
> The tubs are beautiful, my clients are always very happy with them.
> Brian is very responsive and professional. I am more than happy to highly recommend

> Completely worth the wait. This beautiful cover was made to fit our tub. Shipping from Canada to New Mexico was no problem at all and it arrived on time. We had almost immediate replies to our emails and questions from Canadian Hot Tubs. The cover was more expensive than the foam covers but less expensive than the 3 foam covers we have replaced due to curious bears. I cannot say enough good things about this company.

> We had a great experience working with Bryan and his team at Canadian Hot Tubs. The project was on time and professionally installed. Within 24 hours the tub was filled, heated and ready to enjoy. I highly recommend the team, the experience and the product. You won't be disappointed.

> This is our first season with our roll-up hot tub cover from Canadian Hot Tubs and we absolutely love it! We previously had a cover that sat on the water and after a couple of years, soaked up so much water it became almost impossible to take on and off. Given the ease of the roll-up cover, we use the hot tub significantly more. Thank you!!
