> Cassandra helped me to stage my house before putting it on the market. She carefully rearranged my furniture selecting various pieces to place elsewhere or remove to storage. She also chose paint colors and accessories to accent the features of my home.

> In the end, my house sold within 36 hours and $10,000 over the asking price! Thank you, Cassandra, you were a joy.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Help!Change of heart mid project!** *(in Flooring)*

As crazy as it sounds...I am about 70% into a new floor install (honed, matte marble) in my home and am having MAJOR regrets. I originally wanted hardwood, but so many people talked me out of it because I live in Florida (pool, hurricanes etc...) and went with marble stone. They are in the process of installing and am really not liking it. It does look beautiful and the stone has a chiseled edge so I still have the bit of rustic feel in my home, but I still feel it is to "cold" and "formal" for my taste. I am contemplating removing what they have installed and starting over with hardwood. Crossing my fingers that I do not have any water damage in the future. If I do this I would lose about $6,000. Is this insane? Should I just learn to live with my first decision and add area rugs to warm things up a bit?

A: Hello! If you stay with the marble there are so many ways to warm it up! I am not sure of the style that you are going for, but I think a great natural fiber rug, sisal or a look alike with some rustic wood tops for the tables, and comfy, light colored upholstery would be a great way to get that nice, warm feel. Good luck! We are cheering you on!
