We had a layout for our house planned out with our contractor but as the process went on, the contractor informed us that our original layout would not be possible.  We were struggling to come up with a floor plan that would work for our family and the contractors needed one to continue working.  That is when we found the designers at Fohr.  Heather was very easy to work with, especially in what I considered a high stress situation.  She met with us to discuss what design elements were important to us and came up with a floor plan that was perfect for our home and our family. **Q: Love the chair and stools!** *(in Photo Questions)*

I've looked online for them everywhere that I know to shop (west elm, pottery barn, all modern, crate and barrel) and cannot find them. Would you be willing to share where you bought the chairs and island stools? Thanks.

A: Hi There! The stools are from CB2 and the chairs are from Sunpan (sold by Chair Source). This project was completed almost 4 years ago, which could be why you can’t find these products for sale anymore.

**Q: What materials were used for the cabinets ?** *(in Photo Questions)*

What kind of wood did you use and do you have any detailed info on the white drawers/doors ? It is just perfect!

A: Hi Heike! Thanks for your question. The white cabinets are a painted finish on MDF in a high gloss finish. The handles are integrated into the doors, where they have just cut the top on an angle to create a reveal for your fingers to fit in to open. The wood portion of the kitchen cabinets are a walnut wood veneer that was finished with a tinted varnish. This allowed the natural colour and grain of the walnut to come through, but we were able to tone down the orange undertone of natural walnut. Hope this helps!
