> Would not recommend. They took over 5 months to finish installing my kitchen, not including the time to order the product, just installation alone. So disappointed.

> I can't say enough of praise for Veneta Cucine! From the planning phase to when they made sure every detail was attended to when installing my beautiful contemporary kitchen, they were the consummate professionals. I appreciated how they offered their expertise on finishes and possible combinations of materials. The Coral Gables showroom staff was so patient and kind. They had so many samples to choose from and I especially, loved that they used a computer generated version of what my kitchen was going to look like. I look forward to Veneta Cucine spearheading more projects in the future. My kitchen is truly beyond my expectations, it's spectacular!

 - Description: The spirit of a futuristic design. A kitchen that makes minimalism its trump card, offering a new solution for functionality requirements. Its outstanding features include its pure flat door, the up-to-date feel of the wood, the brilliant glow of modernity in the gloss lacquers, the futuristic elegance of the matte lacquers and the Shell System structure, a revolutionary "shell-type" construction system.

## Community Q&A

**Q: big kitchen, small living room** *(in Smaller Homes)*

I have a open kitchen. People like to comment I wish the kitchen is smaller - relative to the living room. How should I use the kitchen more efficiently
?

A: Hello! I guess your kitchen space could be used in a better way.
At the moment I don't have the exact dimensions but it looks big and you don't have that much of a working space.
I have attached two 3D views of a project we did for a narrow kitchen. The original kitchen was L-shaped and the client wanted to have more space, so after a few proposals we arrived to this final decision that the client loved!

**Q: if kitchen cabinets were cars, which one is the Toyota Corolla** *(in Building a Home)*

We are looking for good kitchen. No high end luxury kitchen (Lexus) but also no low end.

Or maybe they are all the same??

Try to understand why the wide range of pricing- from 7k, to 26k to 42k- for exactly same kitchen layout.

A: Hello Ruthie!
Personally I don't know a lot of American brands because I only work with Italian brands for kitchens and other furniture.
When chosing a brand look for this:
\- type of hinges and pull-out mechanisms they use. This is very important because it can determine if the cabinets will last or not. Look also for the soft close mechanism. One of the best brands of hinges and hardware is BLUM.
\- thickness of the cabinets structure and of the doors: I would suggest a minimum of 3/4". This gives strength and resistance to the cabinets.
\- shelves: are they repositionable? Can you remove them and change the position to a higher or lower dimension without having to call the company?
\- for some people is also very important the type of accessories the company offers for drawers, pull-out cabinets and pantries. All this is an important part of the kitchen's functionality.
Hope all this helped you a little!

**Q: Kitchen remodel layout** *(in Remodeling)*

After 18 years in this house, we are finally gutting the kitchen. We have a designer coming next week, but I'd love some help now with ideas. I know there is a more efficient way to lay out this room, but I have a wish list too. We will be using a contractor for most things, but will do demo ourselves. We are getting new cabinets, flooring, counters, and a fridge. I used floorplanner.com, but I wasn't able to get exact measurements and frankly, I don't know what I'm doing. Left wall is 12'7", top wall is 19'2", right wall is 8'1", washer wall is 3'1" and bottom wall is approx. 15'4"

1\. I'd like to keep the sink in the corner-we like this unique feature-but I am open to a better design
2\. The washer and dryer could be moved to the basement or stacked-my preference would be to stack them and open up the end of that hallway, so you won't see them in the kitchen at all. There is a bedroom on the other side of the washer & dryer wall, but we really can't expand into that room as we are only 2 bdrms. upstairs now.
3\. We'll be getting a new fridge-36 x 70 which requires a bigger opening than what we have.
The sky is the limit, we can move gas lines, electrical, plumbing, windows, etc. This is probably the one and only time I'll get to do this kitchen, so I want to make it fabulous! My budget is 25k which goes a long way around here. Please let me know what questions I can answer and if you have a better floor planner app for me. TIA!

A: Hello!
In which city are you located?

**Q: White Kitchen Help!** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I am starting a kitchen remodel. I currently have dark cherry cabinets with 10 x 10 white tile floors and white trim throughout the house. It was fine when we moved in 23 years ago and is classic. Now, I want hardwood in the kitchen that is in the rest of the house. A medium oak in gun stock (reddish medium oak). So, I'm thinking of antique white cabinets with a caramel glaze and raised panels. To keep some cherry, I will go with a cherry island. I also have a wall with a hutch currently in the dining area that I could make a build\\t in hutch with a beverage cooler in the middle and counter tops. I'm not sure I want that in the antique white or cherry on that. I want to keep the kitchen classic and timeless as my home is very traditional. I do love granite counter tops and I want to choose a back splash. I'm not a fan of subway tile as I find it too stark and shiny for my taste. I prefer a more soft and neutral look, maybe brick look with texture. I also want to avoid a too busy little tile look. I would love suggestions for a counter top and back splash. Also, am I making a mistake with antique white cabinets or will they be dated in a few years? I'm just not a fan of stark white. Help!

This is wall with hutch across from kitchen on a wall. Notice how it is big and ceiling on right side goes up in family room since it is vaulted. I think a built in hutch on this wall with cabinet in center taller than sides would be very nice. Not sure if it should be white to match kitchen cabinets or cherry to match island.

A: Hi!
In my experience, shaker doors are always great and a style that's endless!
Antique white is a nice color but there are many more that maybe could fit in your space :-)

**Q: Please help with cabinet pulls** *(in Design Dilemma)*

My door and drawer fronts are not in yet, but they will be slab front door with a satin finish. All white. I'm going for a modern minimalistic look. Should I use different size pulls for larger drawers or keep them all uniform? They range from 15" to 36" wide. I'm looking at 5 1/4" length pulls in chrome. I've attached pics. Thanks for the help!

A: Hi!
In my opinion both look great, it depends on your personal taste.
Take into account that bigger handles mean that you will notice them more, they will be more importante in the kitchen than if they will be smaller.
In Europe we usually put all the handles of the same size.

**Q: What is the material of the cabinet doors?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Hi Kerry!
it depends on the model and finishing. It goes from particle board to wood.
