> Hired Square1 to repair some flood damage. Workmanship was good, everyone was polite and cleaned up their messes . Our only complaint was with billing. The painter examined his own work, and mentioned he wasn't satisfied with it and intended to do another coat. At no time were we informed that there would be additional charges. There was no signed or verbal authorization for the additional work. We weren't asked. Despite that, Square1 held back the additional painting charges ($377) from the insurance proceeds and ignored our attempts to contact them to discuss it.
