Established by Stacey Clarimundo, Found is an interior architecture and design studio rooted in the notion that a successful design should transcend time. As a studio we pride ourselves on listening closely to what each environment requires to both reflect our clients' personalities, as well as their practical and functional needs. Neither traditional nor modern, we like to live somewhere in-between, drawing on the enduring principles of good design. 

With more than 15 years of experience in commercial and residential interior architecture and design, Stacey co-founded her first company, Davis Scott, in 2014. In 2018, she independently launched Found Design Studio and The Shop at Found.  

Stacey graduated from the Boston Architectural College’s School of Interior Architecture in 2008, earning her Bachelor’s Degree and multiple academic awards along the way, including The Harold and Elsie M. Hurst A-1 Studio Prize in her first year, and the prestigious Degree Project Studio Award in her final year. She has been NCIDQ certified since 2011, the only nationally recognized indicator of knowledge and proficiency in interior design principles. 

With experience ranging from 28,000SF ground-up residential construction to multi-level full-gut renovations to one-room decorating projects, Stacey brings a wealth of knowledge, ideas and client focus to each project.

The Shop at Found

The Shop at Found is a natural extension of Stacey's interior design and architecture practice. Located in Essex, Massachusetts, and online, The Shop at Found offers an eclectic mix of new and vintage homewares that feel right at home in clean, layered spaces. 

The Shop curates one-of-a-kind textiles, glassware, ceramics, pillows, artwork, and furniture to make life at home more beautiful, functional, and enjoyable. Focusing on Fewer, Better Things, the Shop's high-quality products are ethically-sourced from artisans, makers, and small enterprises in the US and around the globe.

**Q: love this aesthetic! are these floors pine??** *(in Photo Questions)*

Looking to do reproduce this color with pine floors, wondering if this is whitewash or stain on these floors? Beautiful design!

A: We used wide plank white oak here with Bona Natural for the finish. Pine will give you something much more yellow as a base so you will need to use a different finish to achieve a similar look. I would recommend working with a flooring specialist who will do samples for you.

A: I love these chairs too! These are the Capo Lounge chair by De La Espada which we purchased from The Future Perfect in NYC. Hope this helps!!
