We are an interior design firm based in Brooklyn working on high-end residential projects in New York City, Connecticut, the Hamptons, Westchester, and beyond.  

We curate beautiful spaces for our wonderful clients that reflect their lives and loves. Our designs strike a balance between warm minimalism with vibrant accents. We achieve this by layering neutral-statement-investment pieces and  sprinkling in vivid art and accessories. 

Our Creative Director, Charlene Miranda, has a unique vision for every space that is influenced by her very multi-cultural background. Having grown up in Kuwait, she spent summers in India with her grandparents where she found herself enamored with the design of her grandmother's friends homes. Upon graduating, she moved to Canada where she lived for 10 years and eventually found herself in NYC. Being somewhat of a nomad, Charlene has always had to cultivate the feeling of home wherever she lived which ultimately fueled her creativity and passion for creating homes for other people that reflect their lives and things that they love. 

Her experience with New York based, award winning interior design firms, such as Chango & co. and Michael Dawkins Home, drives her to work on high-end residential projects that incorporate custom furniture and vintage finds. We work with you and your investment to bring your vision to life.

> Charlene helped us with our house renovation last year/early this year and we couldn't be happier about how everything turned out. Our house is more than a hundred years old, and we wanted to choose a style that is congruent with our old house that had a lot of lovely elements that we wanted to preserve. We really appreciated Charlene's thoughtful approach. She truly understood our vision and presented us with so many amazing options of tiles, fixtures, furniture pieces, paint colors, etc. She made helpful recommendations during the process while encouraging us to make our own decisions. She helped us think through what would go well with what we had already chosen, and helped us sometimes go beyond what would be an obvious choice - which added an element of surprise to the space.

> Charlene overall has great taste and can be versatile. She worked well with our contractor and architect, and it helped to have her as our advocate sometimes when we needed to challenge them. She was also tremendously helpful in managing the whole project, including dealing with different vendors (ordering, delivery, returns, troubleshooting, etc.) and coordinating with different parties to make everything go smoothly and stay on our timeline.

> Charlene is an absolute dream to work with.  After moving into a 2 BR condo in New York, I needed someone who could highlight the best qualities of the space and create a vibe that was both chic and cozy at the same time. I had a few ideas stylistically about what I wanted, but Charlene crystallized the vision and brought it to life in a way that I never could have envisioned.

> The priorities for the project were the kitchen, living room, and the main bedroom. At our first design consultation, we discussed fabrics, finishes, and color palette, taking into consideration not just how the pieces and textures would look together but also how each room would feel when you walked into it. What I appreciated most about the process is Charlene's ability to merge her eye for design with creating a space that was totally personal and also functional.  I had a few vintage pieces with sentimental value that I wanted to incorporate, and we found a way to feature them among the more modern design elements. It was also important to me to include some items that were locally-sourced, and Charlene was able to find some really special ceramic pieces and lighting through her relationships with artisans in the Brooklyn area. She even found a local female-owned and operated painting company to do the limewash in the bedroom. How cool is that??
