> We hired Mike Hutaff, of Hutaff Architects, to help create plans for our home expansion and remodel in Irvine, CA. Many parts of the expansion were quite complicated, including converting a Family Room into a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and expanding a Great Room/Dining/Kitchen area. The latter required installing a 32’ long steel beam with multiple roof lines. Mike worked directly with the City of Irvine’s Planning and Building Departments, turning in thorough plans requiring only minor adjustments which were quickly turned around. Also, our HOA immediately approved Mike’s plans with no comments noted. His construction documents were exceptional in quality and detail. When we asked for last-minute changes, Mike was quick to respond and gave us exactly what we wanted. He walked our house with us several times asking questions to make sure everything was designed correctly. Mike is very personable, easy to work with, and always accommodating. We would highly recommend Mike Hutaff and Hutaff Architects for any home modifications.  We’ll certainly use his services for any future plans.
