I bought an older home that needed some TLC. I told Elizabeth and Lenneke with Superior Construction & Design that I wanted a “cozy cottage” feel in my new home. One of the great things about Superior is that they not only do the “pretty things” that everyone sees, but they also take care of things on the construction side as well. I handed over the inspection report to them, and they quickly took care of any items that needed to be fixed. Then we moved on to all the fun things. They picked out a wonderful paint color for the whole house, installed new beautiful kitchen countertops, had custom shelving built into the living room and study, and chose the most gorgeous lighting. I love all of it! Being a recent widow, I had a lot of questions while making decisions. Elizabeth was right there to listen to me and to answer my questions. She was patient and kind and gave me great advice. I gave her an extreme project. I love real bears and I have a piece of a real bear skin. I wanted the room to be nice but I also wanted it to include my bear stuff so sort of rustic but not overly much so. Needed the room to do several functions - guest bed and game room and office and entertainment area. Also we wanted to have some of the furniture made by Amish people in other states. My husband had lots of books so wanted shelves to store books on. If that wasn't enough she had to deal with our crazy schedule as I have medical issues that require me to go out of state for treatment. I don't think there are any better people out there that could top Elizabeth. She graciously worked around our schedule and allowed us the freedom to find and have made the custom furniture we wanted. Of course she gave us ideas and we consulted with her on everything we found to make sure she was ok with everything.
