\-  Consulting Fee:  $100.   (Travel expenses/mileage apply if outside my area, email me for a quote).    

\-  Basic Design Fee:  Starts at $500.  Specified after my initial visit.   This cost may be waived if you hire me to construct and administer your project.  

\-  Depending on size, my hourly cost is $100/hour.   I also work by contract/lump sum on larger estate projects.   

\-  Construction administration and observation is always at an hourly rate of $50/hour plus mileage.

She has extensive experience in larger and commercial projects, and has turned her attention to a sole practice at present. We would use Planta Studio again for any project as we think Margarita is "top notvch".

  - Description: This beautiful estate nestled in Florence, Texas was designed with a 'Texas Mediterranean' style in mind. Spanish influences such as talavera tiles, canteral columns and quadrifoil shapes where utilized as the inspiration. The raised custom quadrifoil hot tub and grotto where designed with the sole intent to take advantage of the hill country scene. Native plant materials where utilized throughout.

  - Description: Entry to a subdivision in Cedar Park. High visibility was a must, as well as enhancing the exiting entry sign. Native, drought tolerant plants where utilized to create an eye-catching view from the main boulevard.

  - Description: The client wanted to increase the curb appeal of his newly purchased home and create a 'resort sanctuary' around his brand new pool deck. The client wanted a tropical look around the pool. Close attention to plant selection as critical to accomplish this look with Texas native plants. The front of the house was enhanced with an open flagstone entry way as well as a variety of shade loving plants strategically placed along the front to screen the large existing raised planter walls.

  - Description: The site is situated under a large existing Live Oak. The main issue was the lack of sunlight and erosion. The client wanted a usable area to entertain and to enjoy from their breakfast table. The solution was to create a small limestone seating area, with minimal plantings as well as create a natural dry creek bed along the drainage path with rocks of different sizes.

  - Description: Curb appeal, connectivity and flooding where the main concerns aflicting this residence. Close attention to water movement along the existing pathways was critical as most of the entry flooded. A dry creek bed with a rock bridge and flagstone pathway was the solution to the problem. As far as plantings, a Texas native 'cottage' design was utilized for the plant selection, taking close attention to surrounding deer populations.
