Talk about mint chip ice cream! We knew the home had some potential, but as our vision kept growing and growing and after 5 years of remodeling every room, we came to the last and final big project - the kitchen. But prior to all this I had to make our family room a more happy space so, we decided to change the family room into a dining room covering the paneling with paint and painting the pine tongue and groove ceiling white - what a difference. I suddenly knew that we HAD to move our tiny tiny galley kitchen to this space. Seemed like it should have been there in the first place. It turned out marvelous! We are almost done building but need to make a decision on our kitchen backsplash. Can you guys help? We will have black hardware and a medium tone wood floor. Below is a pic of our kitchen. What would you guys do? I’ve looked at dark gray tiles or white. White feels like too much white but the dark gray sort doesnt feel right with black hardware. I want it to be very clean and classic.
