> Peg Berens Interior Design (PBID) is an extremely competent, professional and respectful Interior Design company.  I employed PBID for a new custom home I'm building as I didn't feel I had the time or the energy to choose faucets, sinks and wall coverings.  Not only did PBID assist with choosing fixtures, but they designed every wall, custom furniture piece, rough plumbing components, lighting, etc. to be installed in the house.  They did this in an extremely impressive manner by respecting my individual tastes and providing me with few selections of each component from which to choose.
>    Their work was extremely detailed and done very quickly.  They are well-versed in the latest computer applications which lower the time required for changes.  When changes did happen, they were more than willing to go the extra mile to provide detailed alternatives.
>    Their interactions with my architects and contractors are extremely professional and helpful, which makes me feel that I couldn't have made a better choice in my Interior Designers.
>    Ultimately, the biggest vale that I glean from PBID is my ability to get the most accurate contractor bid possible for the completion of my home.  Without PBID, there is no possible way I could get to a price within 5-10% of initial bids.  And should there be any question as to what a wall should look like, or what color it should be painted, or whether my pricing included a specific moulding, there will be no doubt as to who is at fault; PBID provides the contractor with a binder with every single detail of my home.

**Q: Two More Questions** *(in Photo Questions)*

If you don’t mind.....are there guides for the barn doors on bottom?  And is the countertop wood or stone...it’s hard to tell?

A: A hidden bar is a great idea. Haven’t done that before. These barn doors have tiny little guides in the middle to keep them from banging in to the TV. They are small and not noticeable. The countertop is stone - a quartz product.

**Q: Built-In Dimensions** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is the length of the built-in?

A: Hello there!  The 3 narrow sections (2 flanking the fireplace and on far right) are 2'5" wide each.  The main built-in section is 9'10" wide with the center part where the TV is being 4'10" wide.  Hope this helps.

A: It is a hand painted silk wallcovering by Fromental with embroidered silk blossoms in it. So beautiful in person.  If I remember correctly, in came a handful of different background colors and I was able to select the actual silk thread colors for the embroidery!

can anyone advise what colour/brand the wall paint colour is in the living room? Deep/ burgundy red...

A: We had a local Puerto Vallarta paint store color match Benjamin Moore's Classic Burgundy.

**Q: I love the glass countertop on the island.  How can I get one made?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Hello!  This 1-1/2" thick glass countertop was custom made to our specifications by ThinkGlass out of Canada.  I'm not sure if a local glass supplier would make something this thick.  It also has a wavy design on the bottom.  We have it sitting on a copper underlayment piece.  Beautiful in person.  Good luck!
