Clearly a premium architecture firm- TEA2 paid attention to design details like balance, and character while providing the ultimate in functionality. They even repeated a signature curved wall from the old part of the house making everything flow and seem like part of the intended design (rather than an after-thought addition that doesn't match the rest of the house). My family is constantly in the new kitchen and love the new space. The scope of our project presented quite a few unique challenges with the areas being underground between building. This required both engineering challenges and waterproofing challenges that have all worked to perfection. Thanks A: Most of the exterior windows and doors were manufactured by Five Points; the front entry door was custom built by Siewert Cabinets. **Q: Beautiful home.** *(in Photo Questions)* What type of stone &colour was used? Is the roof metal? A: The roofing is a black Vermont slate. I really want a house similar to this. A: Unfortunately this was a privately commissioned project and we don't publish the floor plans or other design elements of privately commissioned projects. A: The roof on this house is cedar shingles blue label sawn and rebutted. The finish on the roof is natural cedar with no bleaching. **Q: It's simply a dream!
