**★★★★★ — Nancy Munn, Sept. 2019**

> We hired Jenni Leasia Design to remodel our kitchen and powder bath on the main floor, and add a new jack and jill bathroom on the second floor. The house is in NE Portland and was in rough shape. We are empty nesters and wanted the kitchen to function for us when we are home along, but also when our four grown children and their friends are visiting. Jenni understood what we wanted better than we did and we love our new kitchen and bathrooms. They function perfectly and are so beautiful, and are respectful of the 1920s character of the home. One daughter visiting this past weekend asked what I would change if I could, and I could not think of a single thing?

**★★★★★ — User, April 2019**

> As a general contractor I've worked with Jenni Leasia Interior Design on a couple of sizable high quality renovations. Jenni and her team of professionals are a pleasure to work with. They listen and communicate well and they're organized. They respond quickly if homeowners request changes or additions to the scope of work even when a project is already underway. Their plans are clear and detailed. But most of all, they have unparalleled design sense. If you're looking for a design company to combine utility and clean, beautiful aesthetics for your kitchen, bath or other interior space, you can't go wrong with Jenni Leasia.

> I recently downsized and purchased a townhome. Fearing buyers remorse, I enlisted the help of Jenni and her design team to make my new space a home I would love coming home to. Mission accomplished!
> With Jenni’s great style and eye for detail, my rather dark townhouse was transformed to a bright, updated and comfortable space! New flooring, carpet, kitchen, bathrooms, furniture, window treatments and lighting- I love it all!
> Jenni and her team were professional, open to my ideas and cognizant of my budget.
> I am forever grateful!

**★★★★★ — John and Dona Tarpey, Nov. 2018**

> We began working with Jenni Leasia and her team early on in a complex and challenging full-house renovation. From the outset, Jenni listened closely to our ideas and developed a strong understanding of what we were looking for in a home. She was deeply attuned to the existing architectural style, the surrounding area, the light and, perhaps most importantly, how we as clients envisioned living there.
>
> Combining this with her broad knowledge of design aesthetics, materials, color, and scale brought the many disparate parts of the project into a cohesive whole. Her ideas and suggestions – based on a keen sense of what would work, and what wouldn’t – helped turn a few basic ideas for a 25-year-old house into an extraordinary and stunning transformation.
>
> While Jenni and Jessica provided exceptional design creativity at an affordable price, they also provided invaluable functional advice, ideas, and support. The kitchen redesign was a collaborative effort based on exactly how we would use it – and it has proven to be perfect. Bathrooms were elegant without going over the top. And when we decided to have several custom elements made for the house, Jenni’s extensive contacts with suppliers and subcontractors helped ensure that each element was fabricated to precise specifications and fit well within the overall design.
>
> This detailed, hands-on approach – coupled with a consistently positive and problem-solving attitude, and unfailing good humor – made a long and challenging project much more bearable than could normally be expected. Jenni and Jessica were an absolute pleasure to work with, and the results – a beautiful, functional, and comfortable home - are far beyond what we could have imagined. We couldn’t have done it without Jenni and her team. We give them our highest recommendation.

**★★★★★ — Maureen Bradley, Nov. 2018**

> Jenni and her team knew what we needed even before we did and the results are truly magical. Our new space has so much light and beauty - it is a real joy to walk into the house and see our garden through our new, giant kitchen windows! All the details are so gracious, timeless and lovely. We are going to enjoy this kitchen for a long, long time!
>
> Thank you, Jenni and Jessica!!!

**★★★★★ — Jeff Shular, Dec. 2016**

> I conducted a very long and thorough search with dozens of local designers to work with us on our Townhome remodel prior to selecting Jenni Leasia- we are so pleased with both the final outcome as well as the process. Jenni stood out because she really listened to what we thought was important AND understood/respected our budget! She and Jordan made an awesome team who not only knew how to take our ideas and incorporate them, but also how to really enhance/elevate them to level that exceeded our expectations. We have worked with other professional design companies on past projects, however Jenni Leasia has created an amazing home for us and a very enjoyable experience along the way. They are masters at quality, and most important, they CARE about the project and outcome as much as we did. When reviewing options, Jenni and team would reinforce how important it was to them that we were happy with the process, including when we made changes.
> Based on how great the design for our kitchen and master bath was progressing, we hired Jenni Leasia to do the interior design for the entire rest of our home which, in addition to being beautiful, was also on time and on budget.
> I would happily work with Jenni Leasia again!

**Comment from Jenni Leasia Interior Design:**

> I am so happy we had the opportunity to help you realize your vision. It was such a fun and satisfying project. It makes us especially happy to know you are really using that beautiful kitchen every day!

**★★★★★ — Olof Kristjansdottir, Dec. 2016**

> I was extremely lucky to find Jenni after interviewing a couple of other designers when I moved to Portland in 2015. For the first stage of our project she worked with me on a design scheme for our house. She picked all paint colors, had floors redone, skylights put in and built ins made for a home office. She also purchased most of the furniture, lights and rugs for our home. She is extremely well organized and easy to work with. I find that she good at listening and customizing according to your needs and wishes. I would have never found the high quality sofas and chairs that she had custom made for us. The rooms not only look good but feel good and are very functional.
>
> For the second stage of our project we did a gut kitchen renovation including dining room and sun room. I could not be happier with the results. Jenni is very thourogh and makes a binder with all the details, colors, materials, knob locations etc for a contractor work with eliminating a lot questions that would otherwise come up later.
>
> I highly recommend Jenni Leasia Design

**Comment from Jenni Leasia Interior Design:**

> I am so glad you are happy with your home. I think you know, we love it too! It is the perfect place for your sweet family.

**★★★★★ — Wolfstone Landscape Design, Dec. 2016**

> Jenni Leasia far exceeded our expectations for the redesign of our living room and dining room areas. These rarely-used rooms are now the spaces we use and enjoy the most. The unused living room became a welcoming mid-century sunken entertainment hub. The dining room was transformed into a great area for entertaining in the evening but quickly transforms into an office drafting and work space with abundant storage. Jenni and her team listened when we said we wanted to keep the design compatible with the 1960's feel of the house, helped us create a strong indoor-outdoor relationship with the garden, kept us informed throughout the process and coordinated with the contractors installing the project. Our remodel was completed 6 years ago and we are now preparing for the next round of improvements in another area of the house. We plan on having Jenni recreate these areas and look forward to working with her. Jenni is experienced, thoughtful and listens. All great qualities when you are making a major investment!

**Comment from Jenni Leasia Interior Design:**

> Thank you! Start with a beautiful midcentury home, add fun and thoughtful clients with great taste, and the results are bound to be good. I loved this project and I am so glad you are happy with it and ready to keep going!

**★★★★★ — 3340quail, Nov. 2016**

> Thanks to Jenni Leasia Design we are loving our completely remodeled kitchen, family room and living room. Jenni worked with us on all aspects of the remodel including design, materials, colors, hardware, furniture and accessories. Jenni is professional and has such a keen eye for all the details to make our home what we wanted. She transformed our outdated, dark home into a light, modern yet spectacularly comfortable home. She listened well and her recommendations were better than what we could have hoped for. I couldn’t always see the big picture of how all the elements would tie together, but I am so glad I trusted her expertise. She nailed it!
>
> Oh…. and did I mention we had so much fun throughout the project? Jenni made it an enjoyable process en route to our dream home! Thanks Jenni for all you did.

**★★★★★ — patriciashattuck, Dec. 2015**

> Jenni did an outstanding design job for us. She helped us select furniture, lighting, rugs and artwork for our newly remodeled first floor of our home. She was willing to listen to us, while refining our choices to complete an updated and sophisticated new look. Jenni was able to work within our budget and her team of assistsnts were always helpful and professional. We look forward to using JLD in the future, and we would highly recommend her for your design needs.

**★★★★★ — lauralmiller194996, Dec. 2015**

> We are in the process of remodeling our master bathroom. I spent so much time trying to figure out what I want, what I like and what I could achieve in the space. When Jenni came in, within minutes she came up with new ideas that will make our master bathroom fabulous. Her attention to detail including lighting (which is so important) was great. Jenni came up with a color scheme that I love and the whole project will be a good investment. Plus, she's so sweet that you just want to make her your new best friend. Highly recommend Jenni Leasia Design and her staff.

**★★★★★ — Patrick Soong, Dec. 2015**

> Excellent design. Our kitchen turned out stunning thanks to Jenni and her team. We were new to the kitchen & bathroom remodel game, and are not very handy people. Jenni and my wife clicked almost immediately when it came to Jenni's design ideas and we had a wonderful experience working with Jenni and Jordan throughout the remodel process. They were attentive and they showed a lot of care for their work.
>
> Although designing costs a pretty penny, we thought Jenni's design, guidance and suggestions were well worth it. I'd certainly recommend Jenni Leasia Design to anyone that needs guidance and a beautiful design for their projects.

 - Description: When our clients, Lynn and Jeff, approached us about this bedroom and bath remodel, they had lived in the house for about 35 years. Jeff said, “I just can’t face waking up in this room anymore. We have to make it better.” The bathroom was so confined that they had to angle sideways to get in and out of the shower. There was inadequate storage and the bedroom was dark and dated. We drew inspiration from their shared modern aesthetic and Lynn’s interest and study of Japanese gardens and culture. W…

 - Description: When my repeat client asked me to renovate the kitchen and bathroom in their new home, I wanted to ensure that the new design was suitable for their taste and lifestyle. They love to entertain, and the kitchen was too small to host friends and family. - Description: This was our second time working with this lovely family in Lake Oswego. We designed their kitchen 11 years ago! In this project, we renovated three rooms: the master bath, the kids' bath, and the laundry room. In the original master bathroom, the shower, tub, and toilet were clustered in a separate room from the vanity. Removing the wall gave us room for a free-standing bathtub and a spacious shower. In the kids' bath, we removed a wall to open up the space and allow the light in from the glass…

## Community Q&A

**Q: I’m wanting info on both the mirrors & sconces.** *(in Photo Questions)*

I’m doing homework on a master bath remodel, and am trying to find elegant mirrors & sconce lighting.

A: This project has been archived. I believe the mirrors are from Uttermost. The sconces I am quite sure are Visual Comfort. You can shop Visual Comfort retail at Circa Lighting. Hope this helps!

**Q: Love the Chairs!** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you tell me who makes the chairs please?

A: I would be glad to! They are McGuire. I love them too.

**Q: Cabinet/Counter/Backsplash Color Dilemma** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Hi, I think I messed up when choosing the shade of white for my cabinet refacing. The bright white of the cabinet door is making my brand new counter look creamy/dirty/dingy. The cabinet door and the counter in the photos below are already installed, so I cannot change those. I'm hoping to find a backsplash that will make the counter and the cabinet door look better together. Do you have any suggestions? Or do you like any of the combinations below? Thanks in advance!

2.

A: I agree to stick with the solid (last photo,) in silver/taupe shades. Light or dark could work depending on what else you have going on. It's not a good idea to bring in another white/cream or a patterned tile above the stone with all that movement in it.

**Q: Kitchen paint color** *(in Photo Questions)*

Could you tell me the paint color on kitchen walls?? Thank you!

A: Thanks for your interest. This is a custom color that we formulated with Benjamin Moore tints. Thanks for your interest!

**Q: Love this sunroom** *(in Photo Questions)*

Could you please share the wall color?

A: I love this room too! The paint is a custom formula that we made with Benjamin Moore tints. It is close to Natural Linen. Hope that helps!

**Q: Breakfast Nook Dilemma** *(in Home Decorating)*

Wanting to “zhush” up our breakfast nook/dining room but not sure where to start...

A: A round table and lower backed chairs might be more inviting as well, but I do agree that removing the curtains is step \#1. Wall color \#2. Swapping out the light fixture \#3 can also create a very dramatic visual change - lots of bang for your buck.
