> This mailbox has fallen apart twice.  The last time was well over a year ago.
> Close to 50 phone calls to the company.  Very few have been answered or calls returned.  The story is that even though they have a lifetime warranty, they do not honor it because their supplier is giving them inferior product and it will cost SO much to have it replaced properly so they are looking into this but in the meantime live with it.  Run on?  Much better than having them be selective and not answer or return the call.

A: Yes, that is correct. The back plate is powdercoated aluminum, and the numbers 304 brushed stainless, although the numbers CAN be powdercoated as well!

A: These are floating numbers with two 3/8" stainless steel standoffs, installed with threaded spikes.  We do also have the adhesive mounting option if you would prefer.  Thanks for asking!

**Q: Do the numbers "float" above the plaque or are they flush?** *(in Product Questions)*

A: Hello!  Yes, they float on 3/8" standoffs.  However we do have adhesive numbers also that are flush.  When you order a plaque, we'll email to ask for the address you need on the plaque and you can then tell us if you would prefer adhesive flush numbers. Standard are the floating style. Thank you for asking.  I would be happy to answer any other questions you may have. Note;the photo below shows the thickness of the plaque, and you can see the attachment hole in the top right hand corner.

**Q: Adorable First House** *(in Design Dilemma)*

My 21 yr old son just purchased his first house.  Now he has very little money left, however he wants to make small changes to the exterior.  We know the light fixtures have to go, the bushes have to be trimmed and the address numbers should be updated.  The house is painted wood siding. It is kind of a fleshy color.  The roof is a golden brown.  What woud you do to make simple updates? Roof and siding in good shape.

A: Oh, and paint the porch railing white - ditch all of the black!
