We fell in love with the location, but the house needed a complete re-model (gut job!). The floor plan was inefficient and out dated and the exterior curb appeal left much to be desired. And we also needed to build a separate work shop/garage for my husband, Ken. We had an idea of what we wanted, but needed someone to "put it to paper" and help us visualize it. We knew we could turn to Chris of Derrick Architecture for that task! He came up with ideas that we never thought of and created a new floor plan for the house, keeping in mind our lifestyle. Chris gave the house curb appeal by designing a new entryway with tall door, sidelights and peaked roof. Next he tackled the workshop. But Chris was able to come up with a great design plan and an exterior that blends with our home.
