He offered suggestions and we threw ideas around. It wasn't long before he had the first design layout ready to go. He explained everything and was very open to making changes. Nantucket beadboard doesn't recommend using their material on a porch ceiling- but ours is very well protected like this. A: lesliekatzman, We would not recommend using any type of MDF/MRI product in an exterior application. There are some very good alternatives for this in either a beaded T&G board or in sheets.
