> Dorothy and Domingo Ottolia are amazing to work with.  We had an extremely pleasant experience and are thrilled with the outcome.  They were friendly, respectful, patient and carefully listened to our requirements.  During the design process, they provided us with out-of-the box ideas for making our new space extremely functional and aesthetically pleasing.  Domingo carefully thought about how we would use the space and drew the plans to reflect that.  There was a tremendous amount of detail in our plans, so that when we were in the bidding and construction phases, there were fewer issues and unanswered questions.  We have referred them to numerous people and will continue to do so!

We appreciated how the design of their home was contemporary while respecting the charm of the neighborhood. **Q: Are you the architect or designer?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I just saw all these same kitchens on Savvy Kitchens posts. Did you design this kitchen or build the house or?

A: Hello Laura, thank you for the email. Good question. We
were the architects on the project and designed all the spaces in this
house in which Savvy Kitchens designed the kitchen cabinets and the
functionality of the kitchen within our space. I have had the pleasure to work with
Loriann on several projects and, as a kitchen designer, she brings a
wealth of knowledge and talent to each project. She's is also a retail dealer for the kitchen cabinets and has a wonderful showroom - I find that this also adds value to the project.

**Q: Can you please tell me the stone used on the Fireplace? Thanks!** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: The stone used on the fireplace is a split face rectangular white marble tile - roughly 2"x6". What we found intriguing about the tile is that ,not only can it add a bit of texture to a wall, but it also has a certain sparkle to it.  We thought the coarseness and color of the stone would would accentuate the fireplace in the space. Thank you for your questions.
