Regards A: I don't have an answer to your question because the homeowner worked directly with the vendor. It is possible that cables simply run along the top of the cross tie or a channel was routed into the top of the cross tie and then through the rafter to run power and video cable, but I wasn't involved to confirm that...sorry!
