From Designer Mary Ann to Project Manager Gerald, I could not be more satisfied with the service before, during, and after the remodel was completed.

> UPDATE: Owners called and are in the process of scheduling an appointment to look at the issue. I will update and revise my review after that appointment.

> Had countertops installed August 2018. At the time I thought they did a good job. Fast forward to March 2021. Noticed an issue with the countertop and backsplash separating from the wall. Called to see if someone could inspect, tell me what was going on, and how to fix. I was willing to pay for the inspection and have them do the repair. Apparently, my money was not good enough for them. They took my inquiry as a complaint about the quality of their work. (It was not, it was simply an inquiry to see what was happening.) They stated labor was out of warranty. Dismissed the issue as the house settling without ever inspecting. No signs of settling. Called a general contractor to inspect. General contractor found no signs of settling. Will not use again and will recommend against using if anyone asks. Not because of the quality, but because of the rude dismissiveness and refusal to even inspect.

> Terrific experience! Our kitchen was renovated by installing new soft-close cabinets, taking out walls to create more open space,  and installed a kitchen island.  We also extended our deck, installed replacement windows, upgraded electrical and insulation. More cabinets were installed in study, as well as can lights and hardwood floors.  Gerald provided a schedule to finish in 8 weeks and it maybe took 9 weeks, mostly due to a sub-contractor.  We were very pleased with the on-site supervisor and his team.  We are so delighted with the result!

We are a Non Profit organization in Chapin and when I called Gerald in the middle of the evening to ask if he could help us out, he did not hesitate. Gerald sent his crew over asap to work on two bathrooms. They replaced interior shower hardware, resurfaced the shower walls with water proofing, and installed new tile. His crew was courteous, professional and clean. The work they did was Top Grade and we are so happy with our new tile showers. I highly recommend Capital Kitchen and Bath for all your needs. After having explored other options that were completely out of my price range, and deciding I was going to try to do the project piecemeal, divine intervention led me to CKB!  Michelle Hannon, CKB's coordinator on my project, was on a list given to me by a local tile store as someone to call for tile installation.  When she came to my house about the tile, she offered to give me an estimate for the entire kitchen.  Michelle took my list of wants/needs and most importantly, my budget, which was not large, and designed the PERFECT kitchen.  Once CKB started on the kitchen, they did not stop.  They stayed right on schedule despite the fact that it was the holiday season, and had my kitchen ready for Christmas dinner (this wasn't a requirement of mine, but they did it anyway)!  Michelle kept me informed of who was scheduled to show up when and they were always there.   Michelle was also a constant presence, and when I had questions or wanted to talk about the project, she was available at the drop of a hat by phone, email or text (and still is, even though the project has long been completed)!  She also had excellent suggestions every step of the way.  Every person involved with this project was a pleasure to work with, including  Kristen Meetze in their home office who always responded promptly to any questions I had regarding invoices or requests I had for documents needed for a rebate!  I typically am not one to brag, but since it is not my work, but the work of CKB, I must say, my kitchen is beautiful and I still smile every time I walk in it!  If you are looking for a company who does a great job at a great price and who is highly dependable, I highly recommend Capital Kitchen & Bath.

A: Hi there! The lav faucets are from Newport Brass. They are the widespread faucet 365 in polished nickel.

A: Hi Joyce! Thanks for your comment! We love the way this project turned out! The cabinetry we provided and installed is Mid Continent Cabinetry, Garrison is the door style name. This is an all wood, maple cabinetry with a factory finished paint in the color Stone. The wall paint color is Sherwin Williams, SW7641, Colonnade Gray. Hope this helps!

**Q: Question on kitchen and island** *(in Photo Questions)*

Hi, like everybody else, I loved your remodel of the kitchen, especially the colors, open flow, and light. I’m on the east coast and am getting ready to work on mine, which has a similar layout at the back of the house. The schematic of the before and after you shared was really helpful!  Is there anyway you could please also share the length and breadth of the kitchen itself and of the island? Thanks so much for considering!
