> We had Aarow do work for us a few years ago. Recently we had a small weather strip issue that I was confident would be too small of a job for Aarow. Nope they are always willing to help previous customers with their needs regardless of how small. Aarow had someone over the same day and the problem was fixed shortly thereafter. Incredibly professional and great workers. They are amazingly responsive and I will continue to use them for my building needs. Next up, going to remodel a bathroom.

> My husband and I decided it was time to update our bathroom, so we browsed the internet for local contractors. After meeting with a few, we decided that work with Aarow Building. Jake was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. This was our first remodel and we had a ton of questions both before and during the project (we even had a few after). Jake was there every step of the way to answer all of them. He was patient, kind, and timely in answering them. We weren’t sure on some of our design choices, and Jake was able to assist in this area as well. He really understood the look we were trying to achieve. His staff was excellent and friendly. They kept things neat and tidy throughout the process. We absolutely love our new bathroom and would recommend Aarow Building to anyone who wants to build with both quality and integrity in mind. Thanks guys!

> My house is not done yet but want to say why one needs a contractor and why Jake fits the bill. In Independence I have been helping my mom fix up her home. Several jobs were just one thing like paint the house.. Time consuming but learned If they call back act interested and present options you may need to think about, put them on the positive list. Later I need to remodel 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. I choose a company who assigned me a supervisor. He made sure I only spent money on what i needed to do to reach my goal. He organized workers and permits and was a great problem solver. Staff was gold teaching me how to do stuff. Experience so positive I knew I needed a contractor to handle my home remodel. Did due diligence and interviewed multiple people. Jake called immediately, appeared interested and excited and immediately helped me to prioritize the jobs. So many ideas my head was swirling .I am a retired therapist and a good therapist knows the basics, does continuing education, and can problem solve because no 2 patients are the same. Same goes with remodeling. Jake would make a good therapist. Will let you know how my house ends up.
> BACK AGAIN: My walls are painted so work will soon be over. I gutted my house and put it back together. Luckily only a few unexpected problems. They helped me with an energy loan from the city. I did not know a house built in the thirties could be so energy efficient. He has also protected my home from water damage. I had my ideas, Jake and his employees presented multiple approaches and where i was stubborn, they made it work. I will miss sketching on the wall. Jake and I went around on the bathroom but it is the best room in the house. Jake has multiple subcontractors to work with. He matches them to the job. Have enjoyed everyone of them. I was able to re purpose items in my home and do many DIY projects. My mom is 92, legally blind, and has dementia. The staff helped me design in function and safety for her and it looks great. End coming. They have been working on all the final fine details. They played just as close attention to this as to the structure of the house making it just right.

> I hired Aarow Building to replace an old window in my living room with a new much better looking energy efficient one. The work was done in a professional, timely manor. Workers were neat and left job site clean and looking nice. Will use them again for the next home improvement project on my list.

> Jake and his team - carpenters and subs are all a great group of people to work with.

> Arrow recently completed an 800 square foot addition to our home. From the very beginning and throughout the project Jake was very transparent, responsive, and professional. The billings were clear and easy to understand. We made several changes during the construction and Jake quickly evaluated/communicated the cost impact so we had no surprises.
>
> The addition is the center piece of our home.

> Aarow Building did an extensive renovation of two bathrooms, added a master closet, oversaw the landscaping of the pool area, built a grilling structure, and draywalled and insulated the freestanding garage. All of the work was done beautifully. The tile work in the bathrooms is spectacular. Everyone wants a place to grill when they see what Aarow built us. The pool area looks modern and inviting. My husband loves his "new" garage, with its heating/cooling unit. Jake and his crew were professional, yet easy to get along with. Jake kept me up-to-date on the budget, and we came in very close to budget!

> Jake and his team did a great job on our remodel, which included finishing the basement (and adding a half bath), and replacing counters and flooring in the kitchen, living room, and master bath. He had excellent ideas and gave us a good direction, always with the long-term in mind. They finished the work just a week or so later than expected (6-week project) and we called them back about a couple minor things, which they handled. Overall very responsive and awesome communication throughout!

> I was looking for contractors to do a variety of work on a rental house i bought for my son in college at Mizzou. It was extremely difficult to try to be the contractor for a total rehab from long distance. I was blessed with being introduced to Jake at Aarow. Jake took charge immediately and set up contractors for all my needs which were many. He was extremely prompt and always followed up immediately with my needs and just as important kept me up to date almost on a daily basis with what had been completed and when the other work was to be addressed. They all did great work and timely. Could not of been more pleased to have Jake running my project.

> Jake and his crew completed a major re-model of my master bathroom. The project was on time and the cost was exactly as quoted. The work was of high quality and each member of his crew was professional and enjoyable to work with. The project included demolition of existing walls and removal of the large bathtub and then installation of a new shower, toilet, vanity and new lighting were installed. We also added a heated floor. The bathroom is contemporary, sleek and functional. Jake took personal pride in this job and we could not be more pleased.

> Aarow Building worked on a few projects for us: they finished our basement, installed a half bath, replaced our patio doors, and installed new tile in our kitchen and master bathroom. They were very professional throughout the process and met most of their deadlines. The delays that occurred were primarily the fault of manufacturers.
>
> Jake quoted us a price before they began and worked incredibly hard to stick to it. Aside from some minor overages along the way, the projects were completed on time and within budget. Aarow explained each step before it happened and never deviated from our plans without consulting us first. I cannot stress enough how important it was for us to work with professionals who were willing to advise us along the way and who were capable of sticking to the agreed budget.
>
> A minor criticism of Aarow Building is that they tend to be a little informal with the contract and billing processes, which can be stressful for type A personalities such as ourselves. Also, some of the finer details of the projects were less than perfect (e.g. some smudged paint on walls, painters tape left on a piece of trim, a little paint on the new tiles, wood trim that was a little loose, etc.) However, these criticisms are minor and do not take away from the overall quality of work. We were very pleased with the work that Aarow did and recommend them for your future projects.

> Once my wife and I decided to build rather than buy we scoured the Internet looking for a contractor that we felt would be a good fit for our needs. Houzz was the first place we turned. After compiling a list of potential firms we started meeting with contractors on our lot just outside of town. Jake with Aarow Building quickly moved to the top of the list by talking with us about our concerns for energy efficiency and indoor air quality. The planning process was simplified when Jake helped us pick an architect that specialized in energy efficient homes. We made weekly stops by the project during the 8-month build meeting with Jake or the foreman the majority of visits. We always seemed welcome and they were always friendly and seemed happy to see us. There were what we feel the usual speed bumps in the process, delays in special order items (including our European windows), cost overages (small and probably reasonable) and weather but the guys just seemed to keep pushing and moving toward the end goal. Once we moved into our home the small issues that still existed were handled quickly and to our satisfaction. We would build another home with Jake and his crew. Thanks guys!

Love the shower! Can you let me know the Kohler model(s) and where I can purchase? Thank you!

A: This shower system is made by Kohler and is the Hydrorail. The heads are interchangeable and I can seem to locate which ones they are. Everything came from Designer Kitchen and Bath in Columbia, Mo.
