**Q: Updates for white kitchen** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I would like to get some ideas on how I can update a kitchen built in 2003 with white pressed wood cabinets. I would like to sell the condo within a couple years and as much as I would love to demolish it and install new cabinets, I know I would be over upgrading for these condo units within the area. I have also looked into possibly changing the appliances to stainless steel, but found 75% of the condos in my area have white appliances. It may not be worth buying new appliances if the rest of the kitchen is outdated. I want the kitchen to look a bit better so it stands out from the other units being sold but I am unsure which updates would be worth the cost such as new backsplash, new hardware, new sink faucet and/or floor tiles. 

The photos are from when the condo was bought a few years ago but remained the same except the wall colour.

A: Black and white combination is convincing, but brown and white is hard to capture how I feel about it.

floors in honey color. now I would like to buy a swarovski chandelier
Do you think that I can combine the modern kitchen with the classic
lighting? The lighting is schonbek. please give me your advise if my choice is the proper one.

A: With all due respect:
black/white with orange accents is a master combination. I have no problem with a classic chandelier provided is super nice( difficult to appreciate from the photo). I have more problem with the look of the table and chairs.
