**Q: want to update my bathroom and kitchen** *(in Design Dilemma)*

small bungalow from the 1940s

A: Stay Away From AMERICAN WOODMARK Brand Kitchen cabinets! The shipping cartons are of better quality! Their lifetime warranty is only print. 
I had a complete kitchen and bath installation for my daughters new home and what a mistake. The finish is worse then sandpaper! American Woodmark would not even send a rep to view all of the issues. From delivery to installation was less then 2 weeks. They claim they have a 90 day complaint policy, but that was not even upheld. The purchase was made from Lowe's who could not even get any help from them. Lowe's is taking responsibility for the whole matter. All of the issues stem around the finish and not cabinet construction. For the high end cabinet line I could never except this for a value budget purchase.
