> We hired Joei to decorate our master suite in our mountain home.  Our room was a challenging and dated space. My husband and I have different tastes when it came to what we liked: rustic, modern, traditional, and mountain; we didn't make it easy! She came to our home and listened to us in-depth, and was very respectful of our likes and dislikes.  She worked hard to get a sense of our day-to-day life as a family and made recommendations that really nailed it.  She is highly creative, has a wide range of styles she works with, and worked with a mix of custom, high end, and mass retail brands/manufacturers to create a luxurious and comfortable space. A key thing we love about Joei is that she took our feedback to heart and worked hard to find alternative items -- being always receptive to feedback. She also guided us when we were requesting something that didn't make sense in the room design. She presented us with various options at different price points, but I'm glad she gave us a lot of options, since we ended up picking pieces (we didn't expect to pick) that worked better and provided more durability and longevity. We saw her in person a few times throughout the project. We didn't have a firm timeline or firm budget when we started, so I highly recommend working with her on a timeline and being realistic on budget and budget flexibility, so she can provide better recommendations.

Her sense for color and texture helped create a warm atmosphere in a modern home with wood floors and stone stairs which might have otherwise seemed cold.  The home is larger than our previous residence and she worked through a collection of family photos to make a wall gallery that balances a personal touch with a professional design.  She accomplished all of this with a strong commitment to maintaining our stated budget.  I would highly recommend Joei to anyone who wants a living space that is both unique and beautifully functional.

A: Thank you. This bed is made by Bernhardt and was purchased through Columbine Showroom at the Denver Design Center.

A: The floors are hand scraped and planed walnut, they are medium brown with variations of light and dark.
