> We highly recommend KKP Group to design, coordinate and construct your next project. Sometimes it is very difficult to find a contractor that LISTENS to what YOU want and can create a beautiful finished product. We are so pleased how they transformed our dull and outdated kitchen and bathroom into beautiful modern rooms!!! They had to reshape our odd shaped island. Sal wasn't happy with the way he originally finished it. So what did he do? He, because of his own professional pride, ripped it apart and redesigned it again, without even asking us. How many contractors that you've dealt with would do that? With Denise's expertise in designing, she and my wife totally changed the appearance of the, bath and kitchen. Her attention to detail is obvious. Changing the lighting was difficult because we have a vaulted ceiling. Installing the proper lighting is what brought everything together. To summarize, one cannot find two more professional people to trust in completing your project. Go with KKP! You won't regret it!

## Community Q&A

**Q: Our kitchen renovation** *(in Photo Questions)*

What material was used for the counter tops?

A: Hi Gail.
The countertops are granite.
The island was angled and we changed the shape to make it easier to gather around!

**Q: To paint the brick or not? I would LOVE to!** *(in Design Dilemma)*

We have spent the last year updating the outside of the 60s house. I feel like if we paint it white the gable/stucco part above porch as well as too short windows on second floor will blend in more. Also, the door surround would blend in more. We love the inside and are growing to like the outside but it still stuck in the 60s. Ideally would like to paint brick a shade of white thats chalky without being too yellow or too stark white. Any suggestions ? and maybe do charcoal door and shutters. Thank you for any help and suggestions. truly appreciate it!

A: Your house needs to be balanced architecturally, you have a large pediment and thin columns,
The front door is lost within the repetitive squares in the window shapes.
I suggest, over the front door, copy the pediment shape and beef up the molding around the door to give it a larger look add pilasters to either side of the door. Then take the windows on the lower level and scale the same pediment shape. The columns are too thin for their height you might want to change them or reshape them.
Find a painter who has working knowledge of high performance masonry stains. I would stain the brick a deeper brick color or if your set on the color white, the stain will work the same way.

**Q: Wall above tub** *(in Photo Questions)*

Is this tile or wallpaper. The area that looks striped. Thanks so much.

A: Amy,
Thanks for your question! Hope you like what you see!
This is not tile or wallcovering, it is actually a faux finish. The techique is done with a series of coarse and soft brushes pulled through the paint to achieve a strie look.

Please let us know if we can help with anything else.

**Q: Template?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Would you kindly tell me if this is a template and if so, would you mind telling me where you found it?

A: Hi Nannette Marie...
Thanks for your question...
This is not a template. This pattern was derived from a fabric panel in the other section of the suite. My very talented partner took a section from the fabric and enlarged it, creating, designing and hand painting the image you see. This design was also used on the wall behind the vanity area in 3 seperate sections.

Please let me know if I can answer any other questions or can help in any other way!

Denise
