**★★★★★ — p70w, Sept. 2013**

> I have worked with Neil on nine projects over 20 years. I am not a professional builder. None have been resold. I have retained my projects for my betterment. With Neil's help my estate has grown many times.
>
> Besides having excellent design abilities, Neil provides other important qualities. Neil is organized. I have always known where we have come from, where were are in the project and where we are going. He dots i's and crosses t's. He communicates well, listens and has always respected my input. Neil has always shown great flexibility in working with me as I need.
>
> Integrity and honesty over time equals trust. Trust is a large part of what a professional has to sell. Without it a relationship is not possible, certainly not one of 20 years.

**★★★★★ — gkeizer, Sept. 2013**

> Neil is detail oriented, has a superb sense of (and flair for) design, listened to our concerns and needs throughout the project, and effectively guided that project -- including serving as our advocate on disagreements -- from pre-start to post-finish.
>
> The result: A marvelous, beautiful one-of-a-kind home that reflected both his design acumen and our dreams. (That house, by the way, was a winner of the Eugene Celebration-based People's Choice award (or whatever it's called...may not have the name right.))
>
> Frankly, I think you'd be crazy NOT to consider -- and hire -- Neil for your project. He's THAT good.

**★★★★★ — bmeyers1, Sept. 2013**

> Neil designed 2 separate houses for us. He was delight to work with. Neil listened to what we wanted, translated that into a successful design in both cases, and provided timely and effective support during construction.

  - Location: Eugene, OR

  - Description: This project features a collection of materials and forms reminiscent of Oregon farm buildings. Using a bit of artistic license the intent was to create a home that references the many utilitarian and aesthetic characteristics seen in the common vernacular of farm houses and farm buildings of western Oregon.

  - Description: Creative organization of space, maximizing daylight, inspired cabinetry and furnishings make this major remodel a beguiling home to walk into. Extraordinary clients, more often than not, make for extraordinary projects. This is one of those cases where an unassuming "ranch style" house was transformed. Photos by Neil Warne

  - Location: Eugene, OR

  - Description: This 3,500 SF "contemporary craftsman" utilizes horizontal lines and wide overhangs to accentuate the design. A masonry siding base, with stucco above, surrounding the entire house serves to anchor the house to its sloping site. The interior is very open with spaces flowing together, opening up long interior vistas and allowing strong connections to exterior patio spaces. Fine detailing and use of high quality materials is found throughout the home. Photos by David Simone

  - Description: Rich hues, Brazilian cherry, travertine tile and tasteful artwork highlight this mediterranian style interior remodel.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Like the simple table, comfortable.. Where is it from?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: June,
The island table is my custom design for the client. It was built by the cabinet maker who fabricated all of the cabinets for the home. Let me know if I can be of further service.
Thanks,
Neil Warne

**Q: Wall tile** *(in Photo Questions)*

What make is the wall tile and what are the dimensions of the tile?

A: Field tile is 6X6. Horizontal ribbon tile is 1x1 with a 1/2"x6" half round border at the top and bottom. Colors are Thrush (tan), Tanager (green), and Pheasant (yellow). Project is 12 years old and unfortuneately I do not have the mfr of the tile and doubt that it is still in stock.
