**★★★★★ — Amy Bunger, Dec. 2016**

> I would not hesitate recommending Interior Transformations to friends and family. Change and transformation is not easy, but Bill, Tracy and their team made the process exciting, efficient, and relatively painless. Communication was top notch, never a message or call ignored or postponed. Questions were welcomed and answered in depth. All of the workers were excellent professionals who took time and care, letting me know they all took pride in their work. We were so happy with our complete renovation of an older neglected commercial building, that we promptly hired Interior Transformation to rebuild our garage and expanded and remodel our High Point Terrace home.

**Comment from HillCo Construction & Interior Transformations:**

> Thank you so much for the review. We will strive to continue the level of customer service you are accustomed to. Thank you again for putting your trust in us.

**★★★★★ — Kathryn Carter, Nov. 2016**

> Bill and his team did an excellent job renovating our master bathroom, installing hard wood floors, and updating our guest bath. The process was easy and his team was terrific to work with. Bill does a terrific job communicating with his customers all through the job process, responding to calls and texts very quickly. We appreciated that the job site was neat and clean each day and had no trouble living around the project. We would highly recommend this company and love the outcome of their work!

**Comment from HillCo Construction & Interior Transformations:**

> Thank you so much for the kind words. LOVED this project and thanks for being such a great sport with all the videoing!

**★★★★★ — Tammy Thorn, Aug. 2016**

> Interior Transformations and team are the best! I completely recommend them for any of your renovation or remodel jobs. We first contracted them to install our new hardwood floors. Owner, Bill Hill came to measure the rooms in our home and gave us a full list of all materials we would need and offered recommendations on installing as if it were his own home. To Bill, it was a simple installation like a weekend DIY project and was hired on the spot. We felt comfortable for his confidence and knowledge and he and his team demonstrated professionalism every day through the installation. They did a tremendous job!
>
> While they were Installing our wooden floors we learned Interior Transformations also did renovations and remodels, which led to our master bathroom remodel.
>
> I have completely disliked my bathroom from the day we built our house almost 10 years ago. The vanity tops, tub, and shower were boring cultured marble, The shower leaked and the fixtures had lost their luster. Bill and Tracy promised to make it special and do it right, and they did! I was even able to help in the demolition and smash that ugly bath tub!
>
> I was totally impatient during the entire project, but I knew exactly what I wanted. Now I have beautiful granite vanities, a wonderful soaker tub and the most exquisite shower in the county. I know I do!
>
> Bill, Tracy, and team of Interior Transformations were always here when they said they would be, always professional and respectful, and most importantly cleaned as they went along. They gave me my dream bathroom that I absolutely LOVE!
>
> Best part is they have become very good family friends.

> Installation of Hardwood Floors throughout the entire house along with Restroom Accessories. Bill, Tracey and their team could not have made anything any better. They were fantastic and we love our new floors!! Highly recommend them for anyone who wants a quality job and the treatment and timely experience you would like to have.

**★★★★★ — johnsidwell, Dec. 2015**

> Bill and his crew did an awesome job on our house. We had all the carpet in our house removed and had hardwood floors put down instead. We did the whole downstairs of our house and what a difference it made! Bill led us in the right direction, since we had no idea where to begin. He worked around our schedules but still completed it all in a timely manner.
> After we did the floors, we decided to redo both bathrooms. I even got my clawfoot tub I had always dreamed about. Bill listened to what we wanted to do and helped us achieve basically a new house. Everyone who has seen the transformation is in love with it, and so am I.
> I would highly recommend Bill and his company to anyone. They are a great group of people to work with. They let us make the decisions and didn't tell us what to do.
> Thank you Interior Transformations. I love my new house!!

## Community Q&A

**Q: Where did you buy the sofa with bench seating?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Thank you!

A: This is the Capri sofa from Polly & Bark. It’s beautiful, comfortable & has survived many family gatherings.

**Q: Bathroom tower botch, need advice** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Originally there was a traditional square soffit over our mirrors in the bathroom that my GC thought could be removed. It turns out that it could not. GC suggested that we instead create a slanted soffit to give a more contemporary look. What no one thought about was we had already designed a tower to go to the ceiling. To still make that all work, they cut the top of the tower at a slant which works but kind of looks a little funny. My question is, should I leave it as it is? Or, should I have the cabinet company remake this? Of course GC doesn't want to deal with this at all and to be honest we have had so many issues with this bathroom and the quality of work, I'm ready to be done.

Thank you for your assistance!
Lisa

A: What was up there that couldn't be moved?

**Q: Backsplash-etched mirror?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

What do you think of acid etched mirror for backsplash? Anyone have info on cost? Regular glass with green tinge or white glass?

A: In the kitchen wouldn't cleaning it be a nightmare?

**Q: Cotton plant as table decoration. Yes or no?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I spotted this in a cafe and I can't decide if it would work in my home or not. What do you kind people think?

A: Cotton plants can be cute but you need to find ones with more "neat" pods. Pods that show the cotton but don't look so "messy".

**Q: Mirror** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I brought this mirror as a piece to hang on the wall as a decorative piece and to make the room feel bigger . I love the way it hangs, but my mother wants me to move it lower. I put it a little higher because on the sofa table under it also I plan on using higher decorations and large candle sticks with the candles. Please let me know what I should do ... Thanks!

A: I would hang it the other way then put your higher items to the left & right of the mirror. Place shorter more dramatic items under the frame. Like pictures here.

**Q: GC installed a toilet for his crew in our house. Should I be upset?/** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Okay, this is a bit odd, I think. We're approaching the end (I hope!) of a year-long+ whole house renovation; we've been living in a rental house for the past year. Our completion deadline has come and gone, and we're still at least 2 months away from completion. We still get our mail at this house, so my husband and I are there every day to pick up the mail and check out the work progress. About a week or so ago we noticed there was a toilet sitting in the upstairs hallway.
. We haven't purchased toilets yet, so we were a little puzzled, but we decided our GC must have brought it in to check spacing or something. Then two days ago we discovered that the toilet has now been installed in our newly tiled, not yet completed guest bathroom, the back of it piled high with toilet paper. We don't have any other fixtures in the house, so there are no sinks with running water, yet we have this working toilet in the middle of this house that doesn't even have closed walls yet. Meanwhile, the Port-A-John that's been out by our garage for the past year is still there, apparently unused now. Am I wrong to find this really disturbing? No one asked our permission to do this. And after more than a year, and close to a million dollars invested in this renovation, I was kind of looking forward to being the first one to use everything in my newly renovated house, especially the bathrooms. Is this a normal thing to happen on this kind of renovation? Am I out of line to be upset about it? I hate to say something to the GC about it and then find out that this is something that's fairly standard in these situations. But I'm really not happy about it. Is my reaction out of line? Or is the GC's behavior out of line? Thoughts?

A: There are a couple things VERY wrong with your story. First, over a year long renovation and the GC is that far behind? Are you kidding? Then he had the nerve to bring in a weird toilet without asking and you are afraid to ask him about it? My husband is a GC and these shenanigans would NEVER EVER be allowed. You are the customer and you need to have your project finished on time and you should absolutely be the first one to use the facilities in your home. Ridiculous!
